i definately think schweini and podolski would be a good double signing from munich (hopefully they aren't having a tiff like benzema/ben arfa have).

i do think that klinsmann taking over BM will be a good thing for those two. He'll play a more open game than hitzfeld an i think he'll connect with those two better than old man hitzfeld did.

Klose. Good experience, excellent aerial ability & unselfish & gets about 20-25 goals a season wherever he played; i.e. Werder Bremen & Bayern Munich

Schweinstieger is not that good. There is still a question mark over his end product. Watch him and Ribery play for Bayern, the difference in quality is there for everyone to see.

Lahm's signed a new deal with Bayern, he is not going anywhere.

Podolski is not what we need.

I'm quite comfortable with the fact we're the only European top club that's never had a German in the first team.

Why dont you want us to buy a right back? We'll be needing one soon.

I have always liked Per Mertesacker but seeing as we don't really need a CB i would go for Lahm or Kroos.

In order or preference:

Podolski- can play winger, striker (in front of Rooney) and the winger/ striker role Ronaldo slots into. Plays on the left so potentially able to take over from Giggs. Can score any time and loves to take crazy shots and is usually pretty well on target. Young enough to slot in but experienced enough no to be babysat.

Lahm: Fast little bugger, not afraid to try a shot. Hasn't looked weak against larger opponents, hasn't done anything terribly wrong. At a young age but with experience so could learn from Neville. Would need Rio and Vidic to watch out as he is prone to arriving back on defense a bit late.

Schweinsteiger (spelling?): Very physical winger, wouldn't take long to adapt to EPL. Makes great runs, gets back, has a good shot, good crosses.

Schweinstieger has impressed me at the Euro's. I don't remember seeing him before so I'm basing my opinion on him purely from the Euro's (always dangerous), but I like what I've seen. Fast, direct, physical, capable of making an impact.

Good shout, they have the same running style and are both exellent on the ball

I would rate Zanetti as one of the best right backs ever and i agree and think Lahm is sort of simelar. Same way Zanetti is extreamly versatile.

Lahm & Schweinsteiger + a class striker would complete are side and believe
schweinsteiger could carry th No7 shirt . The las given class performances in this tournament and he's no whimp so will add a little bite to midfield.

----------Foster
Lahm--Vidic----Rio--Evra
-------Harg---Carri
Schwei--Rooney----Nani
---------Berb

Lahm = 12mill
Schweinsteiger = 25mill
Berbatov = 25mill

flip those around.

lahm would be a lot more expensive than schweini. not saying that lahm would be 25 mind you.

he wouldn't be leaving this summer either. he just signed an extention (lahm).

schweinsteiger is 15 tops.

He has that in his locker, he did the same against Zenit. Playing in the Premier League would make sure he cut it out, just like it did for Evra.

Not see him at the last World Cup? He was good in that as well.

I'm curious as to why many aren't too high on Schweinsteiger, he is a VERY good player. In the Bundesliga he is rated much higher than Podolski, the quality is clear.... I would love to have Schweinsteiger at United.

Germans I would love to have at United:
  1. Schweinsteiger
  2. Podolski
  3. Lahm

I'm not too sure about Schweinsteiger, over the course of a long season I suspect people would be demanding more from him. Only 15 goals in 153 Bundesliga appearances simply isn't good enough as far as i'm concerned.

As far as his club career has gone he has never made a signficant impact at Champions League level for people to sit up and take notice.
He has also never had the consistency or talent over a season the likes of Diego and Franck Ribery have had to seriously contest being the Bundesliga player of the season.

In fairness he has notched a few goals at international level but over the course of a season I think he would be found out having some limitations.
