Hedwiges Maduro, Ajax

Not saying we should rush out and buy him, But one to keep an eye on.

He played about half an hour for Holland in central midfield and looked very good imo. Strong in possession under pressure- sign of a good CM and used the ball well.
He's only 20, with 2 years on his contract.

Maybe Ruud will give SAF a positive report. He was impressed when he saw him the first time;
Maduro started in the first eleven(Ajax) under interim coach Ruud Krol and set up the first goal against Roda JC. In Manchester a puzzled Ruud van Nistelrooy was looking at the highlights of this game, as he told the Dutch daily De Volkskrant: 'I was half asleep, but woke up when a saw his pass on Rosales cut the Roda defence in two. Who is this guy, I thought, maybe a Brazilian, his name sounded like it. I was wondering when Ajax had bought him. He was big and played a bit like a Brazilian.'

Any dutch posters know more about Maduro?

Look like fekkin twins.........His mum must be a bit loose

On a more serious note Babel and Nigel de Jong look like stars of the future.

de Jong told the Ajax crowd @ the Arena that he would be staying for another year meaning he will be out of contract in 12 months.

Babel is not even an Ajax regular yet but i reckon he will be next year.

Watch this space.

Oh and BTW i bought Maduro on FM2005 and he was mustard
