In a deal with Crouch plus cash according to talksport.Only a rumour at the mo but would be a good deal for the scousers if it did happen.

Good move by Liverpool, if they get him.

Wouldn't be cheap though. Don't think Spurs would let him go for anything less than £20m.

He'd form an excellent partnership with Torres, hope they don't get him. But no worries there, Ramos is no idiot and knows that Keane is going to be vital for their success next season (except they could really sign someone like David Villa as replacement)

Keane is the one player Spurs should keep if they want to build something. I can see the guy becoming the captain very soon. Absolutely shit transfer by them if it's true. Keane is a player I like a lot and I would hate to see him go to the dippers.

I am not 100%, but it would make sense. Would King be the captain in normal cases?

Actually, there seems to be some substance in this.

I don't especially want Crouch at Spurs, although he's certainly a decent striker and brings options, but I'd prefer a straight cash bid if Ramos is willing to sell Keane. If the fee were anything close to the reported 20m I'd be happy to take it.

However, if Spurs were to let Keane go I don't believe they would do so unless (a) they already have a very special replacement striker in the bag; and/or (b) Berbatov has decided to stay.

Acting captain i believe. Hes a quality player and would do well with dippers. I hate him personally. Hes an ego monster. I liked him when he was at inter "baby Irish" him and Recoba taking on the world, ah the memories!!!

I'd love to see him at Liverpool as he is exactly what we need. He can form a similar partnership with Torres as he has with Berbatov and if Torres picks up an injury he is good enough to step into the no. 1 postion.

It would have to be written into his contract that he is not allowed to do his stupid forward roll, gun toting celebration. If he brings that with him he can fuck off back again pronto.

I'd hate this deal. Keane is one of my favourite players and I don't want to see him wear a liverpool top. Its bad enough they already have Torres

Would do well for them as a striker partner for Torres but not as the lone man upfront.

Said a few years ago I rate him as a player Liverpool should be getting a hold of. But I dont think the partnership would be quite as good as Keane and Berbatov. They have that almost telepathic thing going on. Regardless, he's a goalscorer who could take some of the wight off Torres who may not have quite the same scoring touch next season.

Cant see Spurs selling both Keane and Berbatov though.

Would Keane want to leave though? He's basically skipper with King being unbelievably injury prone and seems to have settled down big time. Spurs are building a good squad, although many have being saying that for a long time. That said, they beat a very good Chelsea side in the Carling Cup and have a class manager,so it would want to be a very good offer,money-wise. As a United fan and an Irishman, i'd rather him stay at Spurs and enjoy the success he is having an potential successes ahead.

He's matured alot under Jol and Ramos btw.

I really like Keane. He plays with such passion and always gives his best. He scores some cracking goals too.

I would be gutted if he went to Liverpool.

I really do hope these are just rumours.

Would you be happy (as a fan) to let Robbie Keane go ? He's a cult hero at Spurs I believe, wouldn't be a popular move.

In any case I think he'd be mad to leave. He'd get rotated to fuck at Anfield and would start 15-20 games or something

He's never hidden the fact he is a Liverpool fan. It would be hard to turn down the team you supported as a boy (ignoring the fact it is a step up too)

I like Keane, he is popular and I'd be happy to see him stay. But if there actually was a cash bid of 20m as reported - and I strongly doubt there could be as Liverpool look cash-strapped to me - then I'd want Spurs to take the money.

20m is a huge amount of money and would allow us to sign an even better striker than Keane. The other possible factor is Berbatov. If he's leaving (and I say if), then perhaps Ramos might think that Keane won't be the best partner for whichever new striker(s) he has in mind.

However I'm in two minds about all this, because IMO Liverpool are the most vulnerable of the current top 4 and Keane would certainly strengthen their squad.

I doubt very much there wil be a cash offer at all. £10m plus Crouch is as much as you will get I would imagine. A good deal for both teams I would think.

£20M would be great money alright, very difficult to say no to. I'd hate to see him at Anfield though

Keane won't be played alongside Torres on a regular basis, I think, they are both too fast, at Liverpool one of the strikers has to lack pace.

Crouch won't improve Tottenham, Keane will improve Liverpool, getting £10m won't get too many players for Tottenham unless they manage to pull out
