Keane For Lpol...
Don't you guys think lpol can sign better player rather than signing him for that amount, nor that i care that much, but i can't understand why is he valued that highly, maybe because i haven't rated him...

He'll be a better option for them than Voronin, and is better than Crouch (who is still actually a decent player who they should have played more)
They still lack quality wide players and are more interested in swamping the middle of the pitch. The class of Torres meant they could afford to do this at home last season and still win games. |

While players from English clubs attract higher transfer fees they have the advantage of being able to slot straight into the hustle and bustle of the PL, rather than ahaving to waith to see if they can settle. The point with both Villa and Eto'o is whether they would be able to settle in the PL. Eto'o has been excellent in Spain but also comes with an apprent cloud over him in terms of his attitude. Villa would cost considerably more than £20 million and if he was available the top clubs in Spain would be first in the queue. You alsio have to consider how much these lads would want in wages compared to keane. Over a 5 year deal that all adds up. Signing players isn't always about getting the biggest name. Sometimes a player like Keane can be the missing link in a side like Carrick was for United. |

He's a good player who'll definitely improve them but if I were them I'd save up my money and buy a new really top class striker next season.

Keane is a good player but like a poorer version of David Villa. They should break the bank for Villa but they won't. Keane is still a good striker and will improve them though.

I'm not convinced about Keane at all. He's too erratic, and has a lot of poor games. Still, he's got bags of talent, and is better than what you currently have (i.e. nobody). If it works out he could be a very good signing, but there's defninitely an if. |
