Lampard to Inter

Looks very likely, Inter are in for a big surprise if this turns out to be true.

No, he won't be. Despite his lack of any technical ability, he is far far more effective than Stevie Me.

I presume this comes from the Mourinho to Inter link? Be surprised if a few Chelsea players don't follow him wherever he goes.

The answer is right there but you still got it wrong.

Due to his lack of technical ability he would be horribly exposed in Italy or Spain.
That is unless the whole team is built around him even then he won't be able to play the playmaker role Inter use. For eg. Someone like Figo played behing the strikers and not on the wing for them.

I heard it on the radio, apparently substantial rumours are circulating in Moscow.
I can't see Inter basing their team around Lampard so I doubt he will succeed

Wont matter if Mourinho goes there. Lampard is perfectly suited for his system.

I hope Lampard plays in Moscow. Not that I don't rate him, because I do, but it's quite unlikely they'll line up like :

-----Lampard---Essien----Ballack---

More than likely would be Lampard---Makelele---Ballack, hence pushing Essien to right back.

I actually think he will be suited to Seria A. The slower pace and continual long shots fit in with his game.

Well I've heard Sissoko has "looked good" in Serie A so if Sissoko does then maybe Lampard won't be as "exposed" as most think.

He'll be a good signing for them if it's true.

Yes..he lacks technical ability, but he's still a good player and providing the right set up, he'll be useful and score goals from midfield for them. Gerrard is a better player mind.

He is, but he rarely performs to his potential whereas Lampard always gives to his best and is often more effective.

Not really to be honest, all bias aside i'd rather have Gerrard than Lampard.

If Gerrard had played under Fergie you would see a very different player. Benitez has basically resorted to the latest formation because he can not stop Gerrard running around like a headless chicken.

If he has any sense, he'll stay in England to keep his technical prowess 'debatable' rather than 'brutally exposed'.

A myth, technically he's not great but he's good enough for Italy or Spain. Or are you suggesting the premier league is just a fake, fast paced rugby style league where shit players are made to look good?

Lampard is not and was never the best midfielder in the world, which the media and Mourinho started labelling him, but he's still a very good player.

Why would he leave Chelsea for Inter? The Italian league has really deteriorated in recent seasons. The Champs Inter got well beaten by Englandīs 4th best team in the Champions League. Better off staying in England.

Lampard is the type who is made for English football. He won't get the same amount of time and space to shoot and score in Italy. I reckon he will have a very avrage first season and he will be a little bit better in his second season and the papers will be hailing his average performances to keep his hype going before he will be sold back to Newcastle a few seasons later for a knock down fee.
