Liverpool Linked With PSG Forward
Liverpool Linked With PSG Forward
There are reports from France that Liverpool have made an offer for Paris St Germain striker David Ngog. David Ngog, 19, the cousin of former Rangers and Newcastle defender, Jean-Alain Boumsong, is reportedly a target for Liverpool. The young striker has turned down the offer of a new contract with the French capital club, and PSG coach Paul Le Guen has told him he can leave if the rightr offer is received. “He has one year left on his contract,” Le Guen said. “If a bid is made to us we’ll study it.” Liverpool's French scout, Laurent Viaud, has recommended Ngog to Rafael Benitez, and been told that PSG will be looking for £1.5million for the forward. Ngog made 19 appearances for PSG last season. Fucking hell ![]() |

Would do well is if he were as good as Oliver Kapo.
Then again, he could become either the second coming of Bruno Cheyrou, Sinama Ponggole, Anthony LeTallec, etc... Seems like Houllier is tugging at the coattails of a certain Spanish waiter this summer |

eighteenfive broke this story early yesterday morning.
Monday, July 21, 2008 Benitez to sign fourth galactico of the summer Rumours flying about at the moment is that Liverpool FC genius Rafa Benitez has made a £1.5million bid for PSG supremo David Ngog. The 19 year old is known in France as the "New Henry" and if he turns out to half as good then Rafa has found a bargain of a life time. Last season our critics suggested that we were weak on the flanks and that Torres needed a partner. With Dossena and Degen solving the wing issues, Benitez has now gone out and fixed the other problem. Ngog will form a ruthless partnership with Torres and will deliver the Premiership to Anfield next summer. I think we'll look back on Summer '08 in a few years and remember it as the summer where we really turned the corner. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Who is this wally. Ngog is ok, but not that good. Saw him play twice last season and can guarantee he won't make it at Liverpool. And Degen and Dossena are full-backs, so how does that solve their wing problems. |

Oh, and in case anyone didn't know. Last season he played 14 league games for PSG, and scored one goal. He failed to score in four cup games, though he did score 2 goals in what is apparently the french league cup equivalent (massive!).

Seen him play in the Emirates cup last season, looked very raw and very talented from what I saw, didn't seem to lack pace. Obviously need to see more of him to make a judgement but it's not exactly a high risk investment for Liverpool and he could turn out to be a decent player.
