If we are gonna buy him, what should we do? Our squad is full of midfielders so it would be useful to loan him to another Premier League club.

Apparently part of the deal is to loan Aaron and one more player back for next season.

Why wouldn't it be? 100% our player, on loan to another club.

Not sure, just seem to remember that those deals were not allowed...

Risky signing anyway, his father is a nutter, could cause problems at OT...

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones insists he won't block Aaron Ramsey's expected move to Manchester United.

Jones said: "We don't have to sell him now but if Manchester United come calling and the price is right, it's difficult to say to the kid you are not going to play with Rooney and Ronaldo.

"He has all the attributes and nothing fazes him."

It's tribal, but there are quotes. I think he's our player and the deal will be announced on Sunday or Monday.
He actually mentioned Arsenal and Chelsea too along with United. But the media as always does its best!

In terms of style and movement on the ball he's reminded me of Michael Owen so far. But with an eye for a pass, obviously. Haven't seen him really go for a dribble yet.

Generally can play on the right hand side of midfield or in the centre. Has even played as a full back for Cardiff.

Off the striker, middle of midfield, on the wing.

Well, if he's good enough then why not.

I'd imagine we'd try and turn him into a winger, rather than a centre mid.

Also, is he left or right footed? We could do with some more lefties.

He's right footed and hasnt scored a league goal for Cardiff.

Which is propably why he didnt manage to put the ball in the net a second ago.

He has good potential still.

If we got him I would imagine we would turn him into an attacking midfielder a la Gerrard. Don't think he is suited to the role of a current United winger.

I'd never seen him before, and after a quick skim through this thread I was expecting a central midfielder. But he seems more of an attacking midfielder or winger, that would be quite suitable for our 4231/433 formation but not so much the 442.

Of course, I'm basing that on about 25 minutes of play.

Of what I saw in just 25 minutes I'd say he looked a little too eager to impress with his first 2/3 moments in the game which is understandable. Once he settled down the class he has on the ball stood out from a mile off and it was easy to see why he is so highly rated.

His first few touches on the ball were poor. But he grew into the game. He did well enough for a 17 year old. But it's hard to know what kind of player he could develop into. He's neat on the ball but he did not get a chance to exhibit the pace you would like to see in a winger. And we can't tell if he's going to build up enough physically to play as an attacking midfielder.

He would probably be worth a gamble for 5m. If it was 10m then it would seem like a big risk.

Sinclair should pass the ball to Aaron instead of doing a three pointer.

Ramsey is a very tidy footballer, already.

I like that Joe Ledley, could be a very good premiership player.

He looked good to me for the time he played today.

But not that he was exceptional or anything but seemed a different from the other Cardiff players.
