Very interesting that this transfer is being done by means of the Webster Ruling so the player basically walked out from Mallorca and they can do fuck all about it, they're trying to sue him but they'll end up with much less than he was worth.
This is going to happen more and more frequently imo and can only be bad for the game. If Ronaldo or someone like that ended up leaving United this way I reckon this forum would melt down. |

I recently saw him against Brazil, where he was the best player on the pitch in the first half, he looked extremely quick - he kept kicking the ball past the defenders and then catching it again by using his speed.

All very interesting and it seems Newcastle have got a good player. I'd be sad to see Milner leave...Duff on the other hand can go.
There's a bit of a Toon link with RCD Mallorca...Freddie Shepherd now lives mostly in Majorca and is trying to buy the club. |
