Nikon Jevtic

I know this has been posted much much earlier before. Like months before.

But just to post it again.

This guy is brilliant. He's an Einstein at the ball. He can put O'Shea to bed with his skills.

What surprises me is that we've never made an attempt to sign him.

Now he's signed for Schalke 04. A big waste. He could be our next Giggs.

Nope. No camera tricks. This guy is legit.

He's a magician on the ball!

He doesn't do the seal trick, though. All we have to do is teach O'Shea the seal trick and he'll be the complete player.

He will be some player if he develops OK. I like the way he keeps it simple when he can, his passing & movement is so clever for such a young player.

He is a very unselfish player who passes when he could dribble all the way and score if he wanted to.

Maybe it's the EU thing. Surely he's too young for a work permit right?

He's 13 going on 14.

Don't think he needs a work permit.

He's from Serbia/England.

He has an England passport.

But he signed for Valencia then moved to Schalke 04. All this while Fergie was looking at Solskjaer's boy, but didnt see Jevtic, who could easily be the next dinho.

at one point in the video he misses the enitire goal from 10 yards out and they quickly cut it off. The tricks are nice, but any of our players can probably do them, including Fletcher.

Those tricks are a confidence thing and this kid has bags of it. What a player. Vids like that make you want to get on the phone and tell Fergie what he's missing.

Doing them in training is one thing, doing them in a match versus world class opponents is totally different. Professional players have incredible level of skills that mare mortals like us can't fully comprehand.

Even someone like Fletcher is incredibly skilled, you just don't get to see it because he plays with the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney, etc. who are probably in the top 50 in the entire world (out of 6 billion people). Only when you think it through do you realise how good you have to be to play for a club like United

Exactly. We have a fourth league team in my town, and one of their players was a teacher at my previous school. He was a defender, not even first teamer, yet he was far better than all of his students. Sometimes he played with us and dribbled past most of students easily, scored goals from everywhere.

None of us, members of this forum would be able to make a single pass on the pitch, nevermind dribble past any player in the Championship, let alone Premiership. I would say that we could find one or maybe two players who could make a decent back-up in League Two, but I'm not sure about that even.

Every professional players could do tricks mere human can't even dream about. On the pitch, where they face players as good as themselves or even better, they can't fully show off.

Supposedly he has a brother who supports Chelsea, and a manager named Shittu

Lest you forget.

That boy is playing against the strongest guys for his age. I think he might be one age-group younger than those he plays against.

Messi pales in comparison to him at his age.

I dont think many squad players of United was as good at that age.

No they don't if that was the case Mr Woo what ever his name is would be playing proffesional football... Not every preofessional has quick feet, sometimes its just innate!!! I'm telling you know that kid can do more things with the ball than Darren Fletcher he doesn't have to be playing for Man Utd to do it... But there is more things to being a professional footballer than what tricks you can do with the ball, there's boys on the streets that sometimes have more skill than some professional..!!!

Watch the video carefully

The boy has brains as he has skills.

Look at the opportunities he set up for his teammates. He isnt a very selfish player for all I know.

Look at how well he takes freekicks.

To play professional football.

You need intelligence, skills, control, stamina, and luck.

Bumping this. Saw some footage of Nikon Jevtic all growns up.

Still looking promising, he looks like he has real fire about his game too. Look at his free-kicks, they are Ronaldo like.

I was getting worried because nothing was said of him. Its great to see that he is still looking to have serious potential. He should be pushing for U19 soon enough. He is a vain little shit though, he changed his name to Nikon 'El Maestro' He better fulfill that potential after something like that.

Well, fuck! He seems to have a god's given talent and hope he fulfils because i have never ever (not even on youtube) seen a 9 year old or 12 year old do what was shown in those vids. Well, maybe that Mohammed kartal 12 year old kid but this kid seems something else. Well, he is just 1 year younger than me now - so not really a kid anymore

His passing is fucking amazing. He is like the reincarnate of Dragan Stojkovic! If he becomes half the player that Stojkovic was I will be in muppet heaven.

Serious answer - Fuck off.

I haven't said he is brilliant at all, I have said he is simply looking like he still has potential and his game reminds me of Stojkovic. You tell me what is wrong with that. Red Pavans comments above mine indicate he rates him more than I do.

Why so touchy? It was a genuine question, as I've never seen you not rate a Serbian player.

Because its not a genuine question. Normally I don't care, but I hear it all the time frankly its boring now.

The only thread I ever created (I believe) on a Serbian player was Gojko Kacar and Vidic (one criticizing him none the less). The only Serbian players I have rated on this forum are Vidic, Ivanovic, Krasic, Kacar (his potential more than anything).

I didn't rate Jovanovic, I said on his day he can be devastating. I didn't say he is shit either, and most of the talk in that forum was to do with his off-the ball antics anyway.

Ljajic, nowhere did I say he is a world beater, I simply addressed his potential and I am not the only one to have done it, and lets face it being wanted by some of the biggest clubs in the world at 16 should show he has it.

I never said Tosic is amazing, the majority of my posts on Tosic where questioning why he never got a fair crack of games - e.g. carling cup.

Show me where I am over-rating Serbian players and I will gladly admit I am wrong - if that is the case.

And yes, it was a genuine question. Although you saying you hear it all the time says something in itself. And I didnt even say anything about you overrating players, I just asked a simple question.

I gave you the answer, what do you want?

No, what it says is that people are unable to give me a proper response so its just 'bias'.

IMO your simple question was a WUM based on some of your comments to me before.

Austria Wien... YOUTH TEAM?? Career is definitely over. The story was too good to be true. Wayne Rooney scored his first premiership and international goal by that age. Pathetic.
