I'd like us to bring in a midfielder on loan, similar to City and Pizarro. Purely because of all the injuries. It's something we never do but if there was ever a time, it's now.

Well only the biggest muppet would think we're getting anyone today

leaves a summer window to strengthen, in which we must!

We are where we are due to the talent in other areas, but with a strong cm we could be even further.

The thing is, two of those long-term injuries due back over the next couple of weeks. A short-term loanee would end up competing with Carrick, Anderson, Cleverley, Scholes, Jones and Giggs for a place in our best XI.

I wonder how Pogba would think about being pushed out to eighth in the pecking order for a place in midfield?

The evidence of this season and last is that he still picks Giggs for the big games when he's fit.

Good point there Pogue, but can you honestly see us not picking up any further injuries once those players do return?

Does Fergie ever use Park in a central midfield role, I think he does use him just behind the strikers or out wide. Should Park be included in the central midfield options?

He's played there alright. Who can forget that world class CM pairing of Park and Da Silva twin one that we endured recently.

Like whatshisface said, what if we pick up more injuries? and considering Anderson, Cleverly and Young have had numerous injuries this season, it is quite likely. And Jones should still be considered a defender firstly.
With Pogba, if he's as good as some think he is, it seems a bit strange a that with all our central midfield injury crisis he hasn't been considered for selection once.
