There are many other possible factors that you fail to consider. For example, he may be a Spurs fan, and/or he may have preferred to sign for a club with many more British players rather than a club where French is probably the main language, and/or maybe Spurs went for him early and strongly and made him feel really wanted.

And/or he looks at a player like Bale who already commands a first XI place and is only 2 years older than him (or Lennon, who first played in the Prem aged just 16), and thinks 'that could be me in a couple of years.'

Why do you come on a Man United forum to only discuss Tottenham issues? I don't mind, i feel some of the threads are a pollutant of our clean airways, but it is very peculiar that you don't engage in any sort of conversation to do with anthing other than your middle of the way club. Even we, as Utd supporters, discuss the position of Liverpool at great length with their supporters.

Strange fucker you are Glaston, must be that Devizes spring water.

This is a thread about a Spurs player (Bostock), in case you hadn't noticed. And there are usually a fair few threads about Spurs or Spurs players on RedCafe (again in case you hadn't noticed) most of which I haven't started.

I do sometimes comment on other teams/issues, but naturally focus more on Spurs. What's the problem?

There is a seperate United forum for talking about United - this thread isn't in it.

I wasn't meaning to have a go, i was curious having looked through your last 1000 posts. Well as far as i could see anyways, not even a regular poster on the general forum - i though it was strange.

If I were Arsenal or Spurs I'd be working on putting together a young team at present because the next few years are going to belong to United and Chelsea.

Of course what Spurs really need is some good defenders. Does Bostock help in that department?

...
The average age of Spurs' current best XI is 24.1 years old. I've no idea how this compares to other Prem squads.

No. Bostock is an attacking midfielder.

What Spurs really need is for King to be fully fit. He says he now is, so we shall see if this proves true.

King's never been the same since he had battered around the head by those LA cops...
