And if City offer them, say, £140m they'll turn their nose up and say:Spoiler
Stories like that are rubbish, similar to the Modric one. No real way of finding out whether they're true or not and the Modric one will probably go the same way as the "Exclusive" Inter bid £40m for Bale story

I love the way that MoS story has a headline that indicates we've made a £50m bid, whilst the article says absolutely nothing of the sort. Absolute bollocks. This transfer window needs a genuine big transfer story or else shit like this will just keep on coming.

United lining up PSG midfielder
Manchester United look set to make a summer move for PSG playmaker Javier Pastore as they looks to add more creativity to their midfield. According to reports in Caughtoffside.com the former Palermo star who only moved to Paris in a big money move last summer is reportedly unsettled and that has alerted Sir Alex Ferguson who is hoping to bring the player to Old Trafford.Ferguson had been linked with the likes of Luka Modric and Wesley Sneijder last summer as he looked to fill the void following the retirement of Paul Scholes last summer, however a move for either player never materialised and with Scholes now back in the team, the Scot is set to wait until the summer to finally bolster his midfield. The veteran manager has now earmarked the 22 year old 13 times capped Argentine International and PSG could cash in on the player as despite topping Ligue 1 Carlo Ancelotti’s side have done so without Pastore yet to find top form. Much have been made of Man United’s midfield options this season with injuries limiting the impact of Darren Fletcher, Anderson and Tom Cleverley while Pastore recently provided an insight into his current state of mind when he said in a radio interview ‘I train with great conviction in order to realise my dream of playing with a big team. If I want a team bigger than PSG to contact me, then it depends on me.’ United lining up PSG midfielder – SportsNews Ireland |

TBF I'd take him back in a heartbeat but not too sure where that would leave the likes of young.
Although I do wonder would we see a change from the tevez type of situation and ronaldo come back to us on less wages than offered elsewhere and show loyalty to his former club and to the manager he regards as his father? |

"Parent groups have accused Man United of "profiteering from children's loyalty" after they unveiled their fifth home strip in just five years."
It's Nike that get all cash from shirt sales, blame them instead of United. |

What I hate about these stories is it is always Manchester United used as the example. Every major club changes their kit every season. In fact I think Utd were the last to keep theirs for two consecutive seasons.
