Cahill is a very good defender but you just cannot forget that he was released by Aston Villa a couple of years ago because he wasn't good enough. He's better than Dawson but I don't think he's better than King or Woodgate. Parker wouldn't even be a regular there with Palacios and Modric around, and he hasn't exactly been top class during his career anyway. The best I remember him was at Charlton and this was ages ago. Pienaar isn't better than Kranjcar and would probably be a fringe player there, though he's certainly good. They would all improve Spurs squad but they wouldn't improve their first team much. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I find it amusing that we live in an age now where "I stay" and "I'm not selling the lad" pretty much fuels the he's fucking off fire.

Well we're not exactly going to come out and say, we're going to fuck him off. That just brings down the price. Makes it look like Fergie thinks he's worthwhile even though he knows he's turned into an average squad player at best. The fact is, through a reliable source 'he posts on here' that Fergie has had enough and feels that neither he or Carrick can offer much more to United and that they're being offered around Europe and England. Hence the rumors of a Silva swap deal with Carrick and/or Berbatov.
