Yeah I didn't mean to compare him to either of those players, just as an example of a central midfielder playing in a lower division who obviously could play at a higher level.
Who was the Ex United player who said that a player moving from a Division 4(Division Two) club to a top Division 1(Premier League) club will never happen again. I think it was Best who said it but I could be wrong as I can't understand the circumstance he would have done. |

Ince was never in Keane's class. But yeah, it seems like players such as Keane, Robson and Souness are few and far between.

At the time that would be like moving from low League 1, high League 2. He played 30 games his first season. He did a similar story again. He left mid season of 2 his 2nd with CP and went all the way down to Brentford in League 2. There he became a champion and mid next season he was back to the PL. |

We'll never see again another Roy Keane.
Some name of talented players: Robert Snodgrass (Leeds United), not a CM Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton) Chris Cohen (Nottingham Forest) ^^^ Jamie Ness (Glasgow Rangers), best under 20 CM in UK |

When I've seen him he's looked to lack a bit of pace, maybe that's why nobody has had a punt on him? Because otherwise you'd think he'd be a good signing that wouldn't cost the earth, particularly for clubs like Everton.

Dont think he is top 5 quality but I see him at somewhere like Everton/Villa. 29 goals already I thin, great effort. |

Tunnicliffe isn't going to be Keane-standard in my opinion. Keane was technically superior, though most similarities are drawn between the two because of the box-to-box nature of their games and the tough tackling too. I'd say the similarities end there.
Barkley looks more of an attacking player to me. Oddly, he reminds me of Nani a bit in the way he takes on players from a standing position. Not sure what type of player he'll turn out to be. |
