Chelsea Football Club nicknamed The Blues, and The Pensioners - are a professional football club based in Fulham, London. Chelsea were founded on 10 March 1905 at The Rising Sun pub, (now The Butcher's Hook) after Gus Mears had previously acquired the Stamford Bridge athletics stadium with the aim of turning it into a football ground. Since there was already a team named Fulham in the borough, the name of the adjacent borough, the Metropolitan Borough of Chelsea, was settled on. Chelsea's first major title success came in the form of the League Cup with the appointment of former Arsenal player, Ted Drake - who also led Chelsea to the their first ever League title, enabling them to compete in the European Cup, but after objections from The Football League and the FA, Chelsea were persuaded to withdraw from the competition before it started - allowing Matt Busby's Manchester United to start their illustrious adventure with the competition. After decades of being non-competitors, Chelsea returned to the domestic fore in 2003 under new owner Roman Abramovich, who fulled an unprecedented spending spree - starting in the mid 2000s. Since the takeover, Chelsea have won 1 Champions League title, 4 Premier League titles, 4 FA Cup titles, 1 Europa League title, and 3 League Cup titles among others. Chelsea's most prominent rivalries include local clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, title rivals Manchester United; Liverpool and Leeds United. Chelsea play their home games at Stamford Bridge, which had been their home for 100+ years.

Will Giggs take over from LvG now and if so, will the performance be any better?

My prediction depends a lot on who the manager is.
If LVG: Loss (I can't see any other result)
    If Giggs: Draw or Loss

Basically, Hiddink needs to tell his players to work on goal difference and not be scared to attack us. If Chelsea can score 2 goals, its a win for them. There is no way that we can score more than 1 goal in 90 minutes.
If Chelsea play ultra defensively, then we could grab a draw.

Heavy loss coming here. Keeping the score down is the best we can hope for I suspect.

For what it's worth Rooney's capable of a decent cross from the right side every now and again.

I'm reserving my official prediction until after Chelsea's match today but if I had to predict now based on our play today this would not be an unreasonable result.

I'll wait to see who's in charge before I make any predictions.

If Van Gaal is still here then I'm going 1-3 Chelsea.

We'll win I think. Van Gaal will be gone, players will feel like the shackles are off. 2-0.

    De Gea
    Darmian Smalling Jones Blind
    Schneiderlin Herrera
    Young Rooney Memphis

If van Gaal stays, I'd feel sorry for him and really have thoughts about the competency of our Board. The atmosphere will be brutal.
