Guess its pretty obvious as Im a City fan but I'll throw in my 0.02 to keep this moving, seems a good thread and when we get onto fans outside the prem etc.. we might hit on a few gems. People who follow clubs outside the UK jump in please. 1)...

But they don't get anything. Waiting to get beat is pointless imo. Panama today were 6 down today and still played a back 6. It's nothing to do with city but as usual what I post here gets turned into it. When city were shite I much preferred...

For drama and sheer pressure and close games its been great, for football its been a competition of 8 sides trying to play football and 24 trying to park the bus. Too many set piece goals, not enough from open play. I've been enjoying the...

Nope not at this WC, the method they are testing the ref has to call the VAR to have a look. https://www.sportsjoe.ie/football/var-world-cup-163792

This game is on the ref for not going to VAR, that was easily the most stonewall penalty in the competition. Hard to say Switzerland weren't good value for the win but a draw would be fine, but that decision on Mitrovic was worse than the Kane...

Good point, yeah smaller nations have to rely on one or two players and losing them is hard.

I thought you guys usually look fit and hard working, was a strange second half. You are though a big team of big men so games coming thick and fast might be too much. You're not out by any stretch, though I'll admit I'd rather see Nigeria go...

They've been bad on Irish tv too, in the Spain game constantly calling David Silva, Iniesta, at one stage he's like foul on Iniesta (down round right back position) ball flies out to left wing and he's like "Iniesta is popping up everywhere...."

Yup. Iceland looked physically wrecked today second half, dunno if they used too much energy in their first game, are just fatigued, or the heat got to them. Was a bad day at the office.

Given whats happening in their camp we might be lucky to see them literally turn up nevermind play to their best.

Yup but another Argentina implosion while unlikely could see them ship 3 or so, the unlikely thing is Iceland beating you 3-0. 2-0 Iceland and 4-0 Nigeria is possible (again dependent on Argentina, will they have a manager, will they turn up....

If Nigeria smash Argentina and you lose would Nigeria go through in first, not sure if its head to head of goal difference? For example 3-0 Nigeria and 3-0 Iceland. Unlikely I know. Edit: Just checked its GD not head to head so you aren't...
