iconic moment in United history

I always find it funny how every other manager gets one over wenger. Just realised even moyes's united beat him.
But yes that was a glorious day. Birth of Rashford/fosu mensah and the kids. Speaking of rashford I hope he finds his mojo back and start banging goals.
That video has been doctored. This is the actual event as it happened:
Funnily enough LVG was complaining about Alexis Sanchez diving
Best game of this borefest season.
Favorite LVG moment.
Among the top 3 moments in that rubbish season. FA cup win and Martial’s winner in the semis being the other two.
I honestly think it's my favourite game since Ferguson retired.
The team for that day:-
De Gea, Varela, Carrick, Blind, Rojo, Schneiderlin, Lingard, Herrera, Mata, Depay, Rashford
Subs:- Romero, Januzaj, McNair, Pereira, Weir, Riley, Fosu-Mensah
One of the standout matches/moments of the 2015-16 season.
Even better result considering
To bet an almost full Arsenal team with a bunch of kids was gold
The way LVG fell down I initially thought he'd been shot or collapsed. Incredible day for the club with the emergence of Rashford and TFM. Just look at the state of our line up though. Wenger should've been sacked for not beating that side. Rashford was back at school the next day ffs.
Really enjoyable game, helped made it better due to the fact that we were mostly incredibly boring that season and that we fielded such a hodge podge of a team.
The scoreline made it look closer than it actually was though. I loved the latter half of the game after Ozil scored when the kids were just fearlessly enjoying themselves while Arsenal couldn't really do anything.
This is the content we need.
Sometimes I think... what if we persisted with Marcus up top and didn’t buy Ibra or Lukaku?
Look at Kane at Spurs. Now imagine if they went ahead and bought a Lacazette or Aubameyang 2 seasons ago, shunting Kane’s progress and form.
I don’t know. I just feel like he’s definitely wasted on the wing. He’s a number 9 and he should at least be rotated there.
I’d be absolutely gutted if he was sold or even loaned out though. I think he’s the best young talent we’ve had since Ronaldo. I rate him that highly.
The difference between 2 players isn't solely on playing time.
Giving wilson 50 premier league starts wont make him turn into harry kane.
Rashford has the potential to become a very good player but he's not at the level where he can play 50 games a season
De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Varela, Carrick, Blind, Lingard, Weir, Depay, Januzaj, Morgan fecking Schneiderlin and Juan Mata. And we still beat them.
Absolutely my 2 favourite games since Ferguson left were under Van Gaal strangely enough. Battering City 4-2 (should have been about 6 or 7) at Old Trafford was incredible. And this was such a class game where he threw in a bunch of young lads and twatted them. It's a real shame Van Gaal didnt bite the bullet and let us play more. When he went for teams, his sides were very entertaining.
Feck sake, first time watching that and I spilled some orange juice on my desk. Curse you.
Rashford can be better than Kane. He’s faster and more skilful.
It all depends on how Mourinho manages him. I always felt that Welbeck suffered due to being played out on the wing. He would have probably been a quality striker if he stayed as a pure number 9.
Do you realised Harry Kane was loaned out for 2 seasons before his breaktrough career in Spurs?
Kane learned it hard way instead of what Rashford getting on these day. after their initial debut, i dont even remember people talk Kane could become what he is today instead of Rashford who touted to be the next biggest thing England had. He is not more skillful than Kane.
Are you saying Fergie hampered Welbeck talent because he played on the wing? Welbeck even not that talented to begin with.
LVG was a weirdo for me. His persistent with pointless possesion game when we can dominate teams if he just give it a go was absolutey appailing for me.
That was probably the most pure fun game since Fergie left. Rashford, LvG's dive and of course beating Arsenal with one of our most hilarious lineups in recent years was a joy.
Had some good games under lvg. This, 4-2 city, 1-2 at anfield with mata were all cracking. Then both the fa cup semi and the final were high on excitement and drama. Obviously doesn't balance the negatives at all. Feel like van gaal might actually have done ok and been worth 3-4 years, if he had been better in the market and if di Maria had worked out. I didn't have a problem with the individuals signed at the time but the balance was all wrong and it constantly felt like we fixed one problem and made another.
Anyway, this was a great day at a time we needed it
Please not another rashford v Kane debate
I don’t miss a moment of LVG but I’m thankful for his contributions to playing the younger fellas. Really opened the door for them and now they’re thriving.
What a game, one of very few enjoyable matches under LVG.
Wow that's some brutal shit. Look at the state of the bench too!
