I think Chelsea have the ability to soak it up, just as they did against Barca, and hitting them on the counter, with the main threat probably from set pieces. I'd imagine the first goal will be very important, if Chelsea nick it the crowd could start to get agitated but if Bayern do they could win the game comfortably.

I hope you're right, but they were able to contain Barcelona's attacking threat with a man less so i'm not so sure.

Under normal circumstances I might agree but:

It was a one off minor miracle they beat Barca, not because they were so valiant and resolute, it was because Barca, inexplicably, could not get the ball in the net. One of those days.

Not with that back line they won't.

Obviously, I may be completely wrong but I see a pasting coming Chelseas way tonight. They are just not that good without the players missing.

In addition, it's a final, more will be expected of Chelsea than simply parking the bus.

Anyone that has ever kicked a ball knows that Chelseas win over Barcelona was a fluke. Playing against Bayern with a makeshift back line in their own back yard is a different proposition entirely.

Having said that, I can see Di Mateo (the young up and coming superstar of football management) doing the same again against Bayern and this is where his luck will run out and his days at West Brom will come to the fore when evaluating his coaching prowess.

Although anything can happen in cup football, if Chelsea win this I will be both shocked and appalled. If they do and Terry lifts the cup a little part of my love for football will shrivel and die in a cataclysm of incredulity.

I'm not sure it's a more daunting prospect than playing at the Nou Camp with a Bosingwa-Ivanovic CB pairing for over an hour. With only ten men on the field. And they scored twice.

Even if it was a fluke, their chances are probably better this time to pull it off.

    Bayern 3 - 1 Chelsea

Home advantage and better attacking force will come out on top.
Schweinsteiger ( the player United should buy) to command midfield.
One step too far for Chelsea.

I hope there is more videos and pictures of the Marienplatz tomorrow (it even would be packed much more) - and some people on that balcony...

What colour is the Allianz Arena tonight, white? I haven't seen it written anywhere. Obviously Sky will show it later.

If Chelsea win, will Terry definitely be the one to lift the cup?

All the papers say Di Matteo might start Bertrand in this one.

That would be a bold move I guess, handing a start to an unproven, untested youngster in a CL final. But I suppose they will do everything to somehow get Malouda on the pitch.

Drogba to spend 40% of his game time on the floor, Kalou to turn in a scrappy first half goal, Gomez to miss roughly 6 good chances before equalising in the 85th minute, and Bayern to win 4-1 after extra time.

I hope Chelsea lose this on pens. Terry to storm the pitch to take the last peno, but falls over whilst tugging too hard on his captains armband.

Playing a left back who's never played in a Champions League game before on the wing. Nice.

The Lahm-Robben wing is Bayern's most dangerous attacking weapon. Bertrand's main job will be to help Ashley Cole with defending.

OptaJoe: Franck Ribéry has won 42 fouls so far in this Champions League season, at least 14 more than any other player.
