Excellent tackle on Prescott by the Dallas offensive lineman.

Great catch by Gallop to set up the eventual TD and Dallas is back in it.

    Awful challenge by McVay.

Really hope the Boys do them.

Doesn’t matter if you’re playing against a modern pass-happy spread or a 70’s Big 8 or 10 offense, you cannot allow 250+ yards rushing and hope to win.

Chiefs-Rams would be an entertaining Super Bowl, and a threat to the total points mark (75 - SF 49, SD 26).

Extremely poor defensive awareness on that play.

Garrett has had plenty of criticism during his tenure in Dallas, I'm not sure why you'd have a problem with him after that loss to the Rams though. Barely put a foot wrong.

Because Eli is long since finished, and the next two QB drafts are weak.

That referendum is contingent upon Darnold, Allen, or Rosen coming good in the long run, though. And assuming there was no chance of moving up for Baker...

    Was about to say that.

I'm more interested in building up the OL. With the weapons we have, a great OL will allow for a stopgap/veteran at QB. Attracting suitors to NY won't be too hard.

He's like a bootleg Eli. Serviceable in the regular season, but his post season performances are great. We could do worse than getting him, although there'll be competition to sign him, so he won't be that cheap.

Yeah. The drop off after him is significant. Either a rookie or likes of Flacco.

Vikes may consider shipping Cousins :p

This would work better if Gurley hadn't finished the game with 115 yards on 16 attempts rushing and 7.2ypc

I don't think it does. Having a 21 year old kid who should be a senior in college this year, smash the league in yards from scrimmage is now somehow considered a bad thing.

The Giants could actually wind up with someone like Rosen for less than what the Cardinals gave up for him in the draft if Kingsbury thinks he's surplus to requirements when he goes after Murray.

It still works fine. Running backs are easily replaceable. Quarterbacks and linemen arent.

You say that. Belichick went 11-5 with Matt Cassel.

Point is as amazing as Saquan is, picking a RB at #2 makes sense only if you don't need anything else. Giants could have traded that pick and end up with two of Nelson, Leonard and Derwin James. That would've been s much better haul than Saquan

Though imho they should have picked Lamar Jackson

That was just luck. The supposed GOAT to a scrub only changed 5 wins, and with some other good pieces missing.

There's nothing they could've done that yielded a better result than what Barkley has delivered this year (1300 rushing yards + 91 receptions/700 receiving yards). At this point it's not really a debate about RB vs other positional needs. It's one of - whether the Giants were prepared to pass on a transformational player in the Marshall Faulk mold (12k+ career rushing yards + 700 receptions). Barkley in his first year has already equalled Faulk's best year ever over his decade plus, hall of fame career. That's not the sort of player you pass on because of some historical statistical debate about RBs v QBs or offensive lineman.

I don't understand why crap teams don't just pick QB every year until they get a good one.
