That seemed to be the tactical change at half time.

Pogba went to LCM, Sanchez left forward with Lingard CAM.

We played with so much more tempo, desire and energy.

The movement was more like what you'd expect from a top class side, we filled the box plenty of times with Pogba/Herrera helping Lukaku with good 3rd man runs.

It helped Matic as he didn't have to keep pushing high, he can sit back and control from deep.

Sanchez looked so much happier, he could rely on using his movement and agility rather than trying to out run his fullback.

Defensively Bailly and Smalling looked happier on the front foot, they're both better when they have something to attack rather than running backwards and stopping space.

Whether this was just a coincidence because we went "all out attack", but it was the best we've looked going forward in quite a while, the first goal especially was a team goal we rarely score.

I always love this formation but we need better fullbacks to execute it to its full potential.

Totally agree with the higher pressing, it shouldnt be just about formation. The tactics and the way we play is also important.

We could buy top players, but we also need to get the best of the players we already have. I hope Sanchez and Pogba improve, that would make a big difference.
