Sorry I couldn't see a recent thread on him - might be being blind.

Apparently Arsenal have offered £180,000 p/w and he wants £250,000. Also a Chinese club are reportedly willing to offer £400,000 p/w.

Not that I condone throwing money at a situation but he is a phenomenal player, proven in the PL and surely we should go in and outbid Arsenal?

He can play anywhere across the front three and if we unload Bastian that's probably his salary taken care of. Maybe offer Wenger Schneirderlin as he was after him before. Throw in Depay as a freebie.

He'd be ideal for us but Wenger wouldn't want to sell him here, especially given his feud with Jose.

Was already a low chance of us buying him as a direct rival but with Jose at the here and wenger at the Helm at Arsenal this has a snowballs chance in hell

Arsenal would be stupid not to pay him what he wants.

Doesn't really matter what Wenger wants, if his contract is running out and he pushes to join us then it'll go the way of RvP.

Biggest contender for player of the year. Worth any amount of money. If Arsenal dont meet him some of the way and he ends up leaving theyll look like massive set of spanners.

Well, we're paying Weetabix head something like 260k a week, so why not this fella. Imagine the meltdown from the Arse!

Offer him 300k/week and a £15m sign on bonus if he runs down his contract and joins us, at the very least we will inflate the contract Arsenal has to give him.

    The face on Wenger

Wenger sold us RvP because he thought he was done. Never going to happen..

Would love him out right with Miki in the 10 and Martial left. At the very least we should be showing some level of interest if only to ramp up the pressure on Wenger/Arsenal.

I would be willing to use Pogba in a 2 man midfield to see those 3 behind Zlatan!

Also the obligatory where would this leave Rashford?

Rashford needs to play every game so he can run the ball out.

United should just be bombarding his agent with photos of Rooney's contract with a Chinese flag stuck in there.

I'd have him over Griezmann especially when the latter has £80m release clause.

He is as good as gone.

Arsenal will not pay him over 200,000 as an absolute limit.

    Wenger

Its pretty shocking that Bruno Mars is only on 140k/wk. 300 would easily do the trick, especially if we make the CL.

He'd be excellent on the left if Martial doesn't improve by the end of next season.

This one makes massive sense though, made for a 4-3-3, can deputize as striker and already acclimatized and successfull in the PL.

He makes more sense than the talk of the town, Griezmann.

He is fantastic. Wenger will be a fool to not give him what he wants. If he doesn't, i hope Jose goes all in

Given his contract situation it would be worth the attempt. For Sanchez it works in his favour either way as we will gladly pay his price, on the other hand Arsenal will panic and probably give him what he wants. I don't think we'll ever buy him, but give him a good proposition and Arsenal can be removed out the equation. They're far too reliant on him now to drop him or whatever. The tide is turning ever-more in his favour by the day.

Arsenal will definitely shell out the extra £70k/w. Considering the current state of football, £250k/w is good value for a player like that.

Could also see him ending up at City before us, as others have mentioned, Wenger will be far less likely to sell him to us and Jose than Fergie.

Sanchez would be the better fit imo, Mkhi looks very good driving forward as a #10.

Doesn't he always want Champions League football? We probably could have got him in 2014, as we could have easily outmuscled Arsenal and Liverpool, but it seemed to be reported at the time that he wasn't interested in dropping out of the CL.

If a Chinese club are knocking, Arsenal could probably get somewhere close to a world record fee for him, considering the amount Oscar went for, who isn't even that good. Not sure he'd want to go though, if playing at the highest level - the CL - is important to him.

At the reports of China offering him between 4-500k/ week. That is beyond comprehension.

At what point would he have to simply go for it? He can support an awful lot of things and people he cares about on wages of that sort.

Would be great, but I highly doubt Wenger would sell their best player to us again.
