From Ireland, nope. I'd have to take an extra day off work to fly to England, and it will cost me too much. I'd also have to stay in Bilbao that night. I got the ticket in the 2nd ballot so it was a late start for me either way to get something sorted. Plus I'd be travelling on my own so price soars straight away either way.

Quick question hoping somebody can answer. Had to get a membership for someone to come to the West Brom game tomorrow they can't make it now though. I'm assuming your not meant to use the ticket for anybody else but would I get away with taking somebody else?

On a serious note on that, when you say you are going to collect the ticket, if you mean from the ticket office then when I have had to collect tickets they have asked for photo I.D

chances of any blackburn tickets? probably a long shot. could do with a pair. Only asking cause the allocation is always something ridiculous like 7000

Allocation for Wigan is only 3440 !! Used to get over 5 000 at one time, but to be fair they always sell out !!!!

How the feck do Thomas Cook get away with charging £200+ for a "one night break" for Man Utd vs QPR?

A friend told me he was going to fork out for it until I told him I could easily get hold of tickets for him for that game. In the package, TC offer a match ticket, one night stay in a hotel, stadium tour and match programme. Their cheapest package for the QPR game is £172 staying at Bewleys Hotel. If I were to create that "package", I could get it for:

    Ticket - £40
Hotel - £35 (stayed there before)
    Stadium Tour - £15
    Programme - £3

    Total - £93.

And obviously TC must get all of them at discount rates so their unit cost must be even cheaper than that. So again I ask the question: how on earth do they get away with it considering it's illegal?

They didn't sell out last year - loads of empty seats in their bit!

Anyone getting their results through yet?

Haha, ah yes, got you. I feel mildly foolish now.

On another note - Chelsea's away end at City are now on general sale - what a joke!! Imagine ours ever going on general sale, for any game, let alone for a top 4 away game. Joke club.

Enjoy it mate. One of my favourite aways and last time we'll be going there in a while I'd say!

Didn't get anything in the ballot, but fairly hopeful I'll get a couple elsewhere.

Cheers pal, I can't wait for it! Only been there once before and got to see my boy Carrick score. He's my favourite player so I went crazy! Went down there for the reserves as well about a month ago, nice easy walk from the town to the ground and cheap train tickets always makes for a good day. :D

Im still trying to find a ticket elsewhere for Blackburn, should have a decent chance with over 7000 of them in circulation though.

Just sorted myself for Wigan so may see you there!

In the same boat as you for Blackburn - get it most years and annoying forgot to apply. Lots of opportunities for spares at Blackburn though so very confident.

I should have one spare for Blackburn if you boys want to fight it out amongst yourselves, and let me know.

I'm surprised our ground is full for the league games seeing as we have so many thick people going to the games! I'm suprised some can get dressed in the morning!

They won't check it, but if you can it's worth taking it just in case. Must be for if/when the card doesn't work.

Aye. Bit stupid how putting the ticket on your membership card was supposed to make it easier but you have to bring all that shit with you too.
