@duffer It's nice to know where you stand on the famous 'Cooke versus Cruijff' debate.

Cruijff was never good enough to be able to play for Chelsea so is disqualified, like Maradona, Pele and every other cnut not on my list!

The strangest thing about that list is Quaresma mind. I have absolutely no recollection of him playing for you.

I actually didn't even have to cheat to get my A to Z of Chelsea. I'll be annoyed if there was a legitimate U, X or Y who I forgot.

I'm sure there's a better "S" than Frank Sinclair as well!

Interesting enough, what letter has the most great players?
Maradona, Messi, Matthäus, Moore, Maldini, Matthews...
    Pele, Puskas, Platini...
Ronaldo, C. Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivelino, Romario, Rijkaard, Rummenigge...
Seeler, L. Suarez, L. Suarez №2, Sivori, Stoichkov, D. Santos, N. Santos, Seedorf, Scholes...

I was surprised to not have an "S" come straight to mind. Frank was a better payer for Chelsea than Sheva was 100%!

That's a great one. Really like the Hidegkuti choice and can't believe I didn't think of Walter myself :( . Kubala is probably the correct one even ahead of Kopa.

Cool idea. Not the best here, just some personal favourites among the players I've seen. Difficult decisions for some letters.

    Abidal
    Berbatov
    Chivu
    Drogba
    Eto'o
    Ferdinand
    Giuly
    Henry
    Iniesta
    Juan
    Kroos
    Lahm
    Makaay
    Nesta
    Okocha
    Pires
    PiQue
    Robben
    Stam
    Thuram
    NeUer
    Van Hooijdonk
    Weiser
    Xavi
    Yeboah
    Zidane

Couldn't think of anyone with Q or U, so I cheated.

Cantona was special but Charlton is a World Cup Winner, Champions League winner, leading top goal scorer for United and England until a few years ago, second most appearances for United, survivor of the Munich air disaster and a major part of the rebuilding of Manchester United.

He should change his name to Qantona
