Couldn't even finish the trailer.
Sorry, I can't get on board with the "shrink a building and then roll it like a suitcase" idea. Seems to me with that shrinking and enlarging ability, there really shouldn't be any conflicts in this movie. Will probably watch because Paul Rudd is good but not excited.
Another villainless Marvel movie?
Loads of enthusiasm in here... I thought it looked alright.
Tough coming out within a few months of Avengers and Black Panther.
I’ll watch anything with Evangeline Lilly in it.
Didn't like the first one, although I might be in a minority. Just not a very interesting marvel character in all honesty.
Looks utterly rubbish if not for Rudd's comedy.
Kate from Lost will always get a from me
Ant-Man was brilliant, high hopes for the sequel here.
I remember Wasp having the lowest scores in the Marvel Superheroes Top Trumps set.
Some girl called ghost
Never really got these two. Like watching a super hero version of Honey I Shrank The Kids.
What other Marvel movie is villainless anyway? I can't think of any off the top of my head. If you'd said 'another Marvel movie with what is likely a shitty villain' then I'd get you.
Yeah, it will probably be a standard generic villain. Which kinda puts this in a holding place until the real big bad in Thanos comes.
The first one was so much fun though. Paul rudd is really likeable. And he plays off well with Lilly. I think this will be a fun movie to establish Wasp.
It's going to be fun filler, like the last one was, I imagine. The thing about Ant-Man as a character is that he is largely known for two major concepts. 1) Creating Ultron and 2) Going insane and smacking the shit out of his wife. And those were both the Hank Pym one, i.e Michael Douglas in the film, and not Scott Lang, i.e Paul Rudd. The Ultron story was given to Tony Stark in the MCU and there probably isn't going to be a domestic abuse story in one of these films, due to the "fun and 3% campiness" element of them, so they will be entertaining but ultimately disposable I think.
Being able to make a successful franchise about Ant-Man, something that sounds like a SyFy original movie, written by the Asylum, is quite an achievement for Marvel, to be fair. Evangeline Lilly as a new Wasp should be good.
Probably why they used Lang straight away instead of Pym, to shoot down straight away any rumours of a domestic abuse story.
I think it looks awesome.
Very possibly, yeah.
Needs more Michael Pena.
The trailer looks bad. But so did the trailer for the first one and it was not that bad.
Nah, there were much worse characters. Vulture and Mysterio were the kiss of death if you had the villains set.
I still play mine to this day, although Baton Zemo disappeared in around 1989.
Sounds great, to be honest.
Brilliant. Yes, I was talking just about the heroes but now that you mention it I do remember Mysterio (and I think probably Vulture as well) having terrible ratings for the villains. too. I think it annoyed me slightly at the time because I'd always thought of Mysterio as having a quite a cool appearance which made me feel that he ought to have been give a much better score!
I've invested so much time into the MCU at this point that I'll watch anything they put out, the trailer didn't look that great but I thoroughly enjoyed the first film. Think Rudd is fantastic in the role of a kinda dull hero. I'm not head over heels for Evangeline Lilly, man I hated Kate.
Separate names with a comma.
