I doubt he is able to get a number 1 this season

He's more likely to resign than get sacked. On the basis of yesterday alone, I don't see any reason for Chelsea to be worried yet. They looked good while they had 11 men and showed plenty of fight to bring it back to 3-2 eventually. When they have Hazard, Bakayako, Morata all fit and ready to go they should be alright.

When I saw your first post I tried thinking of a witty toupee line as a response as I was scrolling down only to see you had already got there! You're too quick. It seems I am the tortoise and you are the hair.

Must be frustrating to try to get rid of Costa and then get 2 reds in the first game without him . I think he'll walk if he can't get significant signings by the end of this month.

Chelsea's transfer politics are a joke, Conte's relationship with whoever is responsible for that (no idea if it's Abramovich directly) is stained and he will be gone soon

Poor Conte being made the knot of the joke when there are at least three other current Premier League managers who had a hair transplant done.

Chelsea's transfer policies maybe dictated by the fact that old sugar daddy Roman has a pending divorce that's going to cost him a few quid..................the silly money may not be there to throw around.

I'm sure he won't cut his time short and walk. I'm convinced he's in it fur the long haul.

Imagine if Chelsea has a season similar to 2015/2016. It'd be really funny.

Poor transfer window, lose to Arsenal in the Community Shield and start the season looking disjointed and with players behaving poorly.

It's extremely early days but the parallels to Jose's last season are there. There is that same feeling that things aren't right at the club. If they follow that defeat by losing at Spurs there will be a lot of pressure on Chelsea.

I think he'll stay if he can plug the gaps in their squad - it's very thin at the moment.

Wouldn't be surprised if he walks by the end of the transfer window if they don't bring a few in..

Last thing he wants is to stick around and have a "Mourinho season"..

They haven't really spent big in quite some time iirc. Shouldn't they be able to spend some dosh without Roman as well?

First game of the season means very little. Players finding their feet, lower opposition playing like hungry wolves. Happens every season.

Yeah they had a poor start to last season then smashed the league. Bit too early to write them off but it'll be tougher for them this season.

Things will get really interesting if they lose to Tottenham next weekend. I really hope they do.

Probably Hiddink for a third time. He seems to be the guy tasked with picking up the pieces in the second half of the season.
