Why don’t Blind and Sanchez have squad numbers on their kit?
Shaw doesn't either. Guess the sleeveless shirts don't have numbers whereas the others do.
and this is where youre wrong gaining weight and gaining fat are two different things. You can have a poor macro nutrien make up where you basically weigh the same, eat the same caloric amount but are gaining fat because you are intaking the wrong amount of fats or carbs. 3500 calories of extra cheese pizza and soda is diffrent and actuallt even "less food" than 3500 calories of lean meat good fats and carbs with a low Glycemic Index .
He has probably put on a few extra pounds aswel but thats not hard either if your diet is poor. Fats have double the calories over carbs and protiens. eating poorly and maintaing 3500 calories is pretty easy especially when the food is high in fats. Its unacceptable that an athlete has got himslef into that position, but just because he exercises means feck all. We are what we eat. Literally.
Lee Grant, with what appears to be a 1 on his shirt.
As if to say “I’m the number 1 third choice goalkeeper here, Joel”
First friendly on the 19th. Can't wait for the football to start.
I really don't want to divert this discussion bringing up the most current research busting that nutritional myth. I will just leave it at that we both agree that his efforts have been garbage at both training and nutrition, which is shocking for someone that has the resources that he does.
to be honest i would love to hear it in some format. I am a big into nutrition and fitness. I myself used to be fatter than Shaw and did my own research and develped my own nutrition to get myself down to 8 % BF . I would love to know what part of what i said is a myth.
For sure. I did part of my masters on this. Take a look at some these solid studies: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25182101 https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/article-abstract/2673150
Great to see Chong in there.
He looks refreshed! Can’t wait for the start of the season!
Seems i have probably not really articulated my point well. Those findings seem to cement what i am trying to say than show what im saying to be some sort of nutritional myth lol. Either way as you said, we do agree that he should never look like that and has himself to blame.
Martial looks happy, and he even uploaded a vid of him training on to his insta story. I genuinely hope he takes the opportunity afforded to him with Rom, Rashford and Lingard being away at the World Cup, with both hands and finally forces Jose to give him a proper consistent run in the team which continues after everyone comes back.
Martial with that infectious smile and enthusiasms again
Sanchez nice and rested. Can’t wait for him to light the place up
Shaquiri a bench option for who exactly?!

Such an effort
Two funny things I noticed:
Why is Luke Shaw dressed as white American rapper when he's coming into Carrington?
Also who the feck is screaming "Oh, my favorite" when Martial enters the room at 1:10.
On side note, great to see confirmation of Greenwood, Gomes and Chong training with the main team.
This is thread now (everyone looks bored shitless)
It is the lady tha waited for the players and greeted them. I dont know her exact role at the club, but i saw her at press conferences introducing the manager and all that.
Oh that'd be Karen Shotbolt then.
I love how in most of the photos Valencia looks like he's spent every single second of the summer break thinking about how he's going to murderify his opponents.
Will Fred join the tour btw ?
Martial is incapable of smiling.
Death by ball smacking off shin.
And with hair like that, he better not suck.
Shaw looks like Jake Paul with that shirt.
Nearly chocked on my lunch reading that, quality.
Has Greenwood grown?! Looks even taller. I'm delighted for him, huge compliment for him to be involved and he deserves it.
Martial is only smiling because he's thinking about how soon he'll leave carrington for Spurs' legendary training facilities.
Like to see Chong get a chance this season, and Gomez.
The question that needs to be asked is Mourinho back from RT media work or is he still Russia?
I think Chong has a real shot with the first team squad this season, and a strong pre-season will do wonders.
Back in the UK. There's been a few pics of him.
I think the later RT interviews were done in England and transmitted back to Russia.
He's been doing media work in Manchester for the semi finals. Besides there's already pics of him in this thread arriving back.
Glad to hear he is back, hopefully someone can now locate Woody.
