Officially a United player now. Comes with a big reputation, hope he lives up to it.

I've only seen him play a few times. He plays a bit deeper and is more physical. But he's generally a well rounded midfielder. Maybe Saúl would be a better comparison actually.

He's a fairly well rounded midfielder considering his age, IMO. Kinda like young Fàbregas (not as good, though).

You can catch a few bits of him from the U-16 Mediterranean Cup Final vs Barcelona. Follow #8 for Espanyol:

Reminds me of Fabregas with more pace from the little I've seen of him.

The PUI is like pwi in English, the G as the G in gerry and the Mal as in gal. Pwigmal sort of.

Think we have a gem on our hands. Hope to see him in action soon. Really excited with Puigmal, Connor, Traore etc.

The Valencia kid? Never materialised into a transfer. Just media speculation which was probably started by the player's reps to get him a better contract.

The u18 side should really include Gomes and Chong as they're going to keep playing for the u18 at least for half a season. That's a big reason why I'm excited. They're now being supported by a Puigmal.

Traore, Puigmal, Galbraith, Levitt and Garner is a ridiculous set of CM options for a one year group. All international too except for Garner (although I doubt England will ignore him much longer).

I was saying one year group. Barlow is one year older than that lot.

Gomes, Puigmal and Traore are probably our best U18 midfield since Ravel, Pogba, Tunnicliffe on paper.
