It's a Utd forum at the end of the day.

Coming on here calling us "Manure" is pretty pathetic

That’s because he had the decency to apologise and he’s a good poster in general

Not sure if it would be anyone else

No. The Man Utd thing has been debunked a few times, and that can just be sloppy english. Manure is a straight up reference to some of the worst songs.

It's really not. Manure, shit, etc. Its a childish way to refer to a rival team but it's a common word with a negative connotation that shares the first syllable. Pretty straightforward.

If its all that easy and thats the only connotation we should associate the word to (Because an outside Arsenal fan tells us to), then the first 4-5 reactions on here are really overreacting, arent they? Maybe there's a good reason people on here reacted with 'ban him'

I find it really strange and a bit insensitive to be told by an Arsenal fan how I should ignore what could be a reference to death-songs about my team.

I understand it can be simply used in a childish way, and I think that was also santis way of using it, without thinking about it, but some opposition fans are well aware of these songs and therefore insists on using the word. Once met a City fan who did the plane in front of me and called our team Manure, well aware of where to push the buttons, so please dont tell me manure is only used in a childish way

Since I'm (bizarrely) being quoted here, for the record I'd like to say that "Chelski" is also stupid. I mean, I'm assuming it's a reference to Roman Abramovich... who is Russian not Polish!

Lacazette's Europa League bad has been reduced to 2 games so he can play tomorrow. Massive boost for us.

yeah, we really missed him in the first leg. hopefully emery starts him and Auba tomorrow. We need to be quick out of the blocks and overwhelm them in the first twenty minutes.

Out of curiosity, what was the reason UEFA gave for reducing the ban

I like Laca because he holds the ball very well, plus his link up play is fantastic.

Hope we can stop losing the first leg because it's getting annoying to due all the work in the second leg :)

Our home form is just wonderful though :D

I know that wasn’t a proper “miracle”, but it was a decent comeback, and indeed that was one of only 3 score lines like that to be reversed in this competition.

Now we’re off until April. Not sure that’s such a good thing, I want to keep the momentum and form going.

At least the Rugby’s on Sunday..

We were in control until Papa got sent off, tbh. We were always going to beat them 11 vs. 11 at home.

I'm more worried about them stealing fourth than Chelsea now. Do they have any big games left in the season?

Wolverhampton away is tough. Everton are a big question mark, instead. It depends on which Everton turn up..

They will drop points but because our fixtures are tougher it's going to be still hard to finish above them.

We will have to do better than them in our respective away games to Wolves and Everton.

    Arsenal 0-2 City
    Chelsea 3-2 Arsenal

    Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool
    Arsenal 4-2 Spurs
    ManUtd 2-2 Arsenal
    Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal
    Arsenal 2-0 Chelsea
    City 3-1 Arsenal
    Spurs 1-1 Arsenal
    Arsenal 2-0 ManUtd

    Arsenal 0-2 Spurs

    Arsenal 1-3 ManUtd

That record doesn't show that he is 'awesome big game manager'.

Played 12 games including cups (7 at home and 5 away), lost 6, won 3 and drew 3.
    24 goals conceded, 17 scored.

Ignore the first two games of the season; were never going to get anything in either game, though should've beaten Chelsea comfortably.

Didn't he win the Europa like 3 times in a row? If he wins it again this year surely he'll go down as one of the best European Cup managers.

Very impressive to do it with Sevilla.

Seeing as Arsenal have the worst squad, we should've lost all matches against the rest of the top six.

Yeah sure, Arsenal used to lose all games at home vs top 6 games under Wenger :houllier:

Wolves, Leicester have won as many games or nearly as many games vs top 6 teams. One of the manager got sacked.

Solskjaer with almost not much experience in big clubs and squad that was hit rock bottom in confidence won more big games than Emery at Arsenal.

I are an improvement compare with last season though. Apart from Liverpool away, we got barely destroyed.

We were at home in the first game......... It really annoys me how Arsenal fans write off that City loss like its no big deal.

We were at home. It isn't like City haven't lost a game all season either. That loss was pathetic.

What's your record at Everton? I thought you are their bogey team, always beating them home and away.
Agreed with Wolves, though we face them in the league there as well. :annoyed:

Great at home, a bit not good away recently. We lost there in 2014 and 2016.
