Sign him. He's free, we need midfielders.

Really lazy journalism. We just signed a Chilean, lets go for another!

Would rather not. The time we get him was when he left Juventus. We should sign Savic instead.

Heard he's in decline and completely different to the player he was when first linked with him. How much of this is true to those that actually watch him?

Would fit in really well on the right side of the midfield 3 to compliment Pogba, with Matic holding. Don't even care if he's 30, we need 2 midfielders anyway since Fellaini is off which would leave us with only pogba, matic and herrera in the squad, so at least 2 midfielders to give us sufficient depth is needed.

Too many injuries and off field problems and at 31 it's a bad idea, his chance has gone, he also isn't really what we need, I can see him going to Turkey or back to Italy.

Feel like Mourinho is on a mission to rewind time. Alexis, Matic, Vidal, Pogba... these were the type of players we needed to buy when SAF retired.

This will pass though, unless it's peanut to get him which is unrealistic

Apparently he hasn’t been very good lately and he’s turning 31 in May. Also this bit by @Luis DC in the Sanchez thread:

He's not. Contracts ending this year (prominent ones, that is) are Ribery, Robben, Rafinha, and Ulreich. We'll most likely try to give Ulreich a new contract, unless he doesn't want to step down again when Neuer comes back. Vidal's contract runs until 2019.

Nainggolan would be a much better option if we're looking for someone like him.

Vidal would dominate in the premier league.

Good business for whoever that lands him.

Don't understand the clammer for this signing, yes he was a monster a while back, but he will be 31 when we sign him, best years are past him, it would be very much a Schweinsteiger signing, one I don't think we can afford to be or should be making when we are doing such good work off the field currently, get in a younger player, talented, instead.

Should have signed him 4 years ago

At this point, can't help but think he'd be Bastian Schweinsteiger MK 2.

He's past it. Wanted him for years, but we've missed the boat now.

We'd regret it, and I can't really understand people still wanting him.

Bayern are great at knowing when to sell. So don't buy off of them.

Pass. Not the player he once was. Would rather go for someone younger, if nothing else. He'll earn a final payday in China and not pull up any trees doing it, like so many players who go there.

I only want him if Bayern won't give him to us. If they agree to a move I immediately don't want him.

We should only sign players with a 'Z' or a 'V' in their name, hello Vidal

I'd take him for around £10m, as he's still superior to Herrera. But, I'd prefer us to get a younger midfielder that's not arguably already on the decline.
