    Seems the beeb are continuing to dig a very big hole for themselves. However if anything good could come out of it one of them would have to be the unbearable John Humphrys being removed from the Today program..

    He's long been insufferably smug and this just confirms it. Surely, after the standing down of female presenters, it's his turn now and also time to consider putting him out to pasture?

    Humphrys is overpayed like most of the male 'talent' at the BBC, the so called market doesn't apply to about 90% of the presenters at the beeb. Humphrys for example which other media company would pay him as much ?
    LBC ,Classic FM or Talkradio, l don't think so.

    Des Lynam & Adrian Chiles left the cosy beeb for the cash, what happened to them.

    Yeah the BBC has shown it's colours a few too many times recently. I'd be happy to see the back of it and the TV Licence, services like Netflix have shown it's not just the BBC that can produce quality programming without bombarding you with adverts.
