There is no info yet to say if it is an accident or Terrorist related, Sky are reporting a man has been arrested and that the area is closed off.
Sky have pics of a man being pinned down , but not showing them yet
They are not reporting about any injuries at this time.

Looking more like terrorist related , armed officers are making a cordon round the area.

I assume it would have been very busy there on a Saturday afternoon.

fecking hell. My missus is over in London for the weekend. On High Street Ken right now. Just round the corner. This shit would make you seriously consider ruling London out as a holiday destination.

There’s always a massive queue all day on Saturdays. Mainly kids too. These cnuts really are sub-human fecking animals.

EDIT: although it might just be an accident. So maybe we should chill until we know more details...

Looks more like an accident to me. Unverified from Twitter but people are saying he tried to run from the scene which terrorists don’t normally do.

Eyewitness saying on Sky that police arrived after 10 minutes. If that's true then terrorism seems unlikely as the police would have prioritised this from the moment the first calls came in if they thought it was an intentional attack.

Where is safe now though? You'll just end up becoming a hermit, it's terrible yes most definitely and it's easy to say but you can't let it stop you from going about your life.

A cuppa? Sure. I know your type, Jippy. I’d rather she take her chances with the terrorists.

:lol:Tbf would be more in danger as the missus is sat next to me on the couch.
'Tell me again how you 'know' this woman?'
    'Er...'

You're certainly right about that area being extremely busy. Hopefully not too many hurt.

Had that experience recently, actually. @moses recommended a mate of his as a fly-fishing instructor.

That actually somehow sounds more awkward than the first London Caf meet up introductions.

Just out looking at an apartment so haven't seen much in the way of pictures, however LBC were speculating that two motorists might have rammed/pinned the offending vehicle? Well done to those drivers if so!

Not going to lie, as a born and bred Londoner, security was definitely one of the criteria my missus and I thought about upon deciding to move to Canada.

Police keeping an “open mind” on whether or not this is terrorism related.

That's a bit over the top. The chances of ever being involved in one of these attacks are minuscule. London and the UK in general is still one of the safest places to live in the world.

Now I’m wondering if an Asian dude accidentally crashed his car and ended up with his face ground into the tarmac by two coppers. Because he’s Asian. Which is dreadful. But, in a way, understandable. And very very depressing :(

Still a horrid thing though. Should we be relieved that it's not only terrorists that will mow you down- if it's not them, there are plenty of pissed or just plain terrible drivers that will do it?

I said it was a 0.0001% reason, but it still was thought about nonetheless.
Agreed that chances are miniscule etc.
