The obvious: Owen, PIG, De Laet, Bebe. Macheda out on loan (I'd consider a permanent deal if a decent offer came in).

I think there will be a surprise departure this Summer that won't go down well with supporters but will ultimately be down to the player in question wanting to leave.

That's quite a prediction. Is it based on anything or just a guess?

I'd ship out Tommy K and Owen; both are contributing nothing. Then I'd sign Montolivo for around £5mil and we'd be sorted. I'd also bring back Queiroz as assistant manager.

I'd happily wager everything I have that he won't. Why do you think he'll go?

I can see Owen staying if he's happy to be the 5th, emergency striker, but he should really move on so he can play a bit at the end of his career. But if he's happy, I'm happy.

The Kooz will hopefully find a home in the lower divisions, he's the only obvious one to me.

What we could use the most is someone like Goetze who can play in on the wing in a front 3 along with Nani and Rooney for the big games, so we can play 3 in midfield.

Kuszczak and Owen are obvious candidates for the chop. Owen hasn't contributed at all really this season, PIG is self-explainatory.

Aside from that, I don't think Anderson will get the chop just yet. We can ill afford losing one more central midfielder.

I do think Macheda's close to the axe - he might get half a season to prove his worth if Owen leaves with Diouf already out the door. Chances will surely be limited though.

And I think, sadly, that the Berb will move on to pastures new. :(

I see no point in selling Ando. We've stuck with him long enough at this stage, no pointing flogging him off for cheap in an area we are already lacking players in. I also hope Berb stays.

Any old cnut can say "I think we'll lose a big name player" in the summer but where's the evidence to support such a claim? Or are you one of them ITK fellas that has read a Tweet from someone who cleans the toilets at Sky Sports News?

This kind of thing makes no sense to me. Why sell youngsters who show potential, have caused no problems, play in positions we need players, and are likely on low wages? It's pointless and luckily we don't do it here.

It's based on a lot of things really but nothing concrete by any means. You have to consider the influx of young players into the first team squad combined with the fact that some of our relatively long serving foreign players might well fancy a change at this stage in their career. Then there's the pressure on the wage bill that we're experiencing as well as the 25 man squad limit. It just looks to me to be a perfect storm for a surprise departure this Summer. We shall see.

In response to the OP, I would sell/release Macheda, Owen, Park and Kusczach.
