Why does it surprise me. You can't look past the "technique" of a player.

If John Terry had "technique" I'm sure you'd say he's "not disliked" as well.

    This place can be embarrassing.

Is Rooney a horrible little scrote too?

I like Fabregas, he's a narky little cnut on the field but that's what you want in a CM

He seems a really nice lad off it (as in, a long way off it, not on the sidelines berate the fourth official or in the dressing room chucking pizza at knights of the realm). A bloke I know who's worked with him on some charity thing said he's an absolute gent.

He's also had dinner next to Rooney and said he's a really sweet lad, though this was a few years ago when he'd just joined United.

Why would Chelsea or the Dutch dislike Iniesta? His goals were legit in both cases.

The thread is about Fabregas' personality, not his talent which is not in doubt.

Great player, but a huge twat.

I remember him screaming "feck off" in Rio's face after they scored a late goal against us at the Emirates. Didn't he throw Rooney's shirt on the floor after swapping a few years back at OT? Let's not forget him launching a pizza at Fergie too. Wanker.

I live in AL4, never seen any current arsenal players but always used to see Les Ferdinand and Gary Mabbott about.

He's a tremendous little prick, and grossly over-rated on the caf. I'm sick of people including him with the likes of Xavi and Iniesta. Nowhere near that class. He's a good player, but I'd never have him at United.

one of the biggest cheats for a very long time, he's cooled it though

Fabregas footballing ability far outstrips his cuntish behavior, his pass for the second goal was just typical, the man is a genius in every sense of the word

That business at Hull a few years back was very distasteful.

Can understand him being a bit pissed off with Huddersfield after they'd given his side a footballing lesson on their own patch in that game.

I find such comments, absolutely bizaare but each to his own, none of those 2 can produce the sort of pass range Fabregas does every single week and the man would moonwalk into our team anyday

overrated how? as a midfielder what department does he lack in?

Are you serious? How do you know?

That's just pathetic if true. In all the off field crap I've seen or heard about him he's come across as a good bloke, I guess it's a big case of white line fever where he's concerned.

It's bollocks - he had two shirts and had given the one he was wearing away and promised the spare to a second Huddersfield player so he said 'No' to the third guy. No mas.

He's not nearly as much of a twat as many are. He just got that face that makes him seem more of a twat than he really is.
Arguing with the ref, that's nothing to moan about. At least not because he's the captain.

He's made stupid comments and should shut up a bit more. But if he were a Man Utd player he wouldn't bother anyone else one bit apart from the Barca soap opera.

So are there any actual details on what he's supposed to have said? I love the way Wenger is basically calling Moyes a liar.

Wenger has already said previously he lies to protect his players, this is probably more of the same.

Spitting at ballack, Spat with Sheringham, Huddersfield, controversy when he came on the pitch vs Hull, Pizza throwing. He's absolutely classless. Classy player but disgusting player to watch.

over rated? Nah he's a great great player. Not as good as Iniesta and Xavi for me but the next best thing after them. He'd be fantastic for us but its hard not to hate him.

Cracking player he really is, just extremely petulant and a massive twat. Seems to show a lack of respect towards a lot of opposing players and managers

That's a big ass claim, but to be fair, I can kinda see where you're coming from.

Both fantastic midfielders, two of the best in the world, but for me Iniesta edges it.
