Im calling it early that the 2018 Champions League winner will come from 1 of these 4 teams.

    a) PSG
    b) Man City
    c) Spurs
    d) Manchester United

Get on Betfair now you won't be sorry :)

Madrid have started the campaign badly, but they tend to reserve their best for around the knockout stage. I would not rule them out at all. Barca's fortunes will depend on Messi, the way he's playing , if he continues that, they are a real threat too. I don't think Spurs will make it to the semis at all.

    For me :
    Real Madrid
    PSG
    2 of United/Barca/City

I honestly have no idea. I think City have a bigger chance than most imagine but they're the only English team I can see with a chance of winning it.
Madrid look like a completely different side this season. Atletico are all but out already. Barcelona have been poor in the CL in recent seasons and have just lost Neymar. PSG haven't done much in the competition in recent years. Bayern have had a mini-crisis this season but may be recovering. Dortmund are all but out.

Truly fascinating year for the CL.

I still think if Madrid get their shit together they will be the one to beat. Otherwise it really could be anyone from 5 or 6 teams.

Maybe this is the year where a couple of English teams can progress to the latter stages. And even win the thing.

Still too early. Team form will most likely change by February.

Agree with you. It will be one of those four. More specifically, it will be PSG

Why no love for Juventus? They have reached the final twice in the last 3 years. I wouldn't rule them out just yet. They are knockout specialists and have the experience that teams like PSG and City are lacking. Usually teams reserve their best perfomances for the knockout stages and Juventus seem to raise their game at around that time.

It's difficult to say who will win the CL right now because we don't know how the form of the contenders will be and you need to factor the possibility of injuries to key players as well. If we have all our players fit and firing I can see us reaching at least the semis this year. We shouldn't be scared of anyone. Teams like Atletico and Juventus have had a lot of success in the competition in recent years based on solid defences and that's exactly how we would approach it as well.

Don't forget that Atletico won the EL as well and that pushed them on to greater things. We should be looking to make a similar impact in the coming seasons. We are very difficult to break down and a defensive style with the mentality of not getting beaten is a proven method in Europe. We may not win the CL but we need to make our presence felt in this competition. I find it very difficult to believe that we reached the final 3 times in 4 years starting from 2008 and in recent years we haven't even qualified let alone compete in the latter stages.

Man United are the biggest club in the world alongside Barcelona and Madrid and those are teams we need to be competing against and beating if we want to return to Europe's elite again.

I hope so, put down £100 on them the day they got Mbappe. £850 return would be pretty swell.

Sadly I think City are in with a good shout, I see them as stronger than PSG.

Real and Barca can never be counted out either, so I guess my prediction is something like this:

    Citeh
    PSG
    Barca
    Real

It feels like it's a year or two too soon for PSG. They'll come close but I don't think they'll win it.

    Barça or City imo.

    Why not ourselves?!

    Have some faith!

We have a better chance than City due to their weaknesses in defence compared to ourselves.

The Spanish two are the lesser of the evils as things stand - it’s looking worrying like it’ll go to either Qatar or Abu Dhabi this season.

The teams who have the best defences tend to do very well in this tournament, so I can't see why people are mentioning City, as in this regard they are suspect.

We in the other hand look very good, so if people are saying that City could get to the final, why couldn't we do so?
