    First round of games.

Shame Barca Vs Juventus is on the same day as ManUtd's game.

RB Leipzig vs Monaco and Spurs vs Dortmund should be a good one.

Is this one of the strongest CL seasons ever? Look at the amount of decent teams. You have the elite in Real, Barca, Bayern and Juventus. Then another tier including Napoli, Atletico, Dortmund, PSG, City, United, Chelsea and then another tier with Monaco, Liverpool, Sevilla, Roma, Spurs.

Think we need to be smart on Wednesday. Obviously go for the win but not all out. A draw is not a disaster but if we end up getting a loss, we're playing some very difficult catch up from the very beginning.

Hopefully Poch puts out a rather more suitable side than the last time we played Dortmund....

Otherwise looking forward to thr Juve Barca game.

very tough game with Barca tomorrow. Given the state of form and the absences a draw would be a great result for Juve.

I agree the CL is very competitive this year. My starting grid would be:

    Barca, Real, Bayern
    Juve, PSG,Atletico
    City, Chelsea, MU
    Napoli, Borussia
    Benfica, Porto, Liverpool, Tottenham

The rest do not stand a chance

The Spurs and Liverpool games on Weds will be tasty. I think Spurs could get the W against Dortmund tbh. Liverpool vs Sevilla will be tighter; think Sevilla take it or it ends a draw. I don't think Liverpool win it though.

We were heavily linked with him before he signed for RB Salzburg if I'm not mistaken

I think I like that. Thiago deeper in midfield behind James. Hummels on the bench. Rafinha at leftback sucks but with both Bernat and Alaba injured, it's probably still the best choice.

I really, really hope Paul Merson is covering his game. Trying to say that might kill him.

We were trying to sign him for a long time before he went to Leipzig.

Juve without half the starting XI (Chiellini, Höwedes, Marchisio, Khedira, Mandzukic and suspended Cuadrado). 20 year old Uruguayan Bentancur plays his first game from start for Juve... away at Barcelona.

Juve have played Barca 11 times. 3 wins for Barca, 5 for Juve and 3 draws, so far. Expect Barca to win their 4th tonight. Juve will probably play a tight game and hope for a draw, with this starting XI.

Oh and Messi still hasn't scored against Buffon. That streak will probably end tonight.

Barça should win their game considering how many Juve starters are missing. As for us, I'll gladly take a draw. Jesus went for Doumbia instead of Dost to try and recreate our win in Bucharest in the playoffs. Hopefully it works but we tend to underperform in this kind of games.

We started well but i'm always skeptical of Jorge Jesus in the Champions League. Not tonight but i'd love to see Doumbia and Bas Dost play together more than the last 10 to 15 mins.

Just realized Camp Nou isn't full. How is that possible in a Champions League match against heavy weights Juventus??
