Wednesday failed to beat an out of form Hull, conceeding in the 96 min. I don't think Carvalhal will hold much longer.

    Final results:

    Bolton - Barnsley 3:1
    Brentford - Fulham 3:1

    Ipswich - Nottingham 4:2
    Millwall - Sheffield Utd 3:1
    Preston - QPR 1:0

    Sunderland - Reading 1:3

Sheffield United seem to have run out of fuel. Good period for Derby, instead.

    He's gone:

Nigel Adkins currently the favourite to take over, don't know what to expect.

Hull are just a mess, with a careless owner. Changing manager won't change anything.

Quite liked slutsky to be honest, but the performances have been shite. We totally caved against Bristol and I thought at the time it must be over for him. Think he's a decent guy, the Hernandez injury has just totally fecked the whole season

I agree, for me the Bristol game was the final straw. Some of the stories I'd heard from around the City were great but it was clear he didn't inspire the team.

Wolves currently at 1-0 against Birmingham who should really be down to 10 men.

Aye. They play really good football, tbf. It’ll be interesting to see what sort of turnover there’ll be next year if they get promoted. Or whether those players can make the step up to being good PL players.

Wolves remind me of Watford at this level a few years back. Transfer model not to everyone's taste but it attracts good quality internationals and it's really only a matter of time before things click. Wolves getting a good manager in has helped significantly.

Think this squad would do fine in the premier league and they're obviously going to attract more quality with premier league football on offer.

    We're playing for 2nd really.

Just a word on our beloved neighbours.....I still remember the night Harry Redknapp was sacked and he said in his interview he was utterly convinced this squad would finish above us at the end of the season....20 point difference atm.

Shame it's not the premier league though.

    Do you support Wolves?
I think they are already better than some Premier teams.

Certainly lived up to expectations, dramatic late winner for Bristol City. Their run goes on even further.

The Championship always has some good surprises. A truly great league, imo.

Great draw for Sunderland against Wolverhampton. 0-0 FT. Derby keep their momentum going, as they beat Barnsley 3-1. They are 4th now, as Villa draw against Millwall. Fulham, Hull and Middlesbrough are back to the winning way. Nottingham-Bolton 3-2, Q.P.R.-Leeds 1-3, Burton-Preston 1-2 and Norwich-Sheffield Wednesday 3-1.

Wolverhampton beat Sheffield Wednesday away thanks to this beauty from Ruben Neves. Can't wait to see him in the Premier League next season . @Sly

Bristol only one point behind the 2nd spot after beating Nottingham 2-1. What a season they are having! Derby doing well as well, as they beat Villa 2-0. Another defeat for an out of form Sheffield United. Leeds just one point behind the second spot. Preston close to the 6th spot as well. Big wins for Sunderland, Burton and Q.P.R. Millwall-Middlesbrough 2-0 and Brentford-Barnsley 0-0.
    Cardiff-Hull now.

How is Bristol City's season going so far? If they played every week like in the league cup against United, they should be smashing the Championship :D

Bristol hammer Reading and go 2nd, as Cardiff lose at home against Fulham. Derby draw, instead. Another win for Leeds. This time it is against Burton. Sheffield United back to the winning way against Sunderland. Middlesbrough, Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday win as well. Barnsley-Preston and Ipswich-Q.P.R. both 0-0.
    Brentford-Aston Villa play at 7:30 p.m.
2-1 Brentford FT. They are climbing up the table.
