Just caught his new Netflix special and great to see him back on stage where he belongs .

I know some people find him too preachy but iv ahead preferred him to pretty much any other comic Chapelle included and he is on top firm here

I tried watching this tonight but turned it off. I find his style of humor a bit dated.

I went to one of his shows in the 90s and thought that was better at the time.

    He has writers.

He's a great performer. But I'll always value comedians that write every bit of their own material.

Yeah, but in the end I just want an entertaining show. Is this good?

I'm not particularly a fan of him but I thought this was alright. It starts really strong but I think it hits a lull in the middle. A pleasant watch but nothing amazing, and it his style does feel a bit dated at times, as has been mentioned.

I enjoyed it. It's no "Bring the pain" but still one of the better specials I've seen recently and if you're a fan of his, you'll like it

I really liked it. This is from someone who has gone off standup lately.

The title sounds familiar to the show I went to see him in last month ,if it's the same thing it's worth a watch.

Is it better Chapelle's recent stuff? I didn't enjoy any of the four of Dave's recent specials on Netflix.

Well then you value nobody because that's just a tired arguement .

Every single top comedian has either stolen a joke or used a joke written for them at some point.

Over 90% of Chris's show is his own experiences and that's probably more than your faves

    Easy there mate.

I value lots of people. Pretty sure that you don't know me.

I just value comedians that fly solo, higher. So no, my 'faves' do not have less original content than Chris Rock.

Chris Rock has specials that I have in my top ten ever. There nothing wrong with me rating his actual talent lower because he has a writing staff. Calm the Farm.

Yes. It was really enjoyable. Some of the premises were a little tired/lazy and it's not as super sharp as his best work, but it's funny.

I Prefer Chris Rock and Dave Chapelle over Kevin Hart. I loved Dave Chapelle's Netflix specials, I'm sure I'll like Tambourine.

A lot of very tired topics, and predictable punchlines. It all felt like he was picking the low-hanging fruit in order to pay for his divorce.

But Chris Rock has excellent delivery, so it worked for the most part. Very few other comics could make that material even remotely funny. He just about managed it, but this wasn't a vintage special.
