Hope Chelsea thrash City. Can't believe our first game of the season is just 5 days away.

Are we going to have those ridiculous international friendlies soon despite the recent WC?

Those have been cancelled of the past 2/3 seasons. The next international break comes in September

It's always on the Sunday before the league kicks off, but somehow I wasn't aware either.

There are three international breaks before Christmas - for England, there are two friendlies and four matches in the new UEFA Nations League tournament to be played.

Cesc is injured so likely won't be playing this. Drinkwater is likely to start in his place. Both sides missing several of their best players so I'm thinking it'll be a fairly even game.

Going to this as part of city allocation. Feel dirty but £35 was too good to pass on.

Jones was a dope and cost us a penalty. United could have played for two days and not scored, they were utterly hopeless in that final. Nobody showed up.

This will be the day that a million fantasy football players pick him (he's dirt cheap) and then are disappointed when he is not picked next weekend.

Though not exactly a real trophy, this really is the official start to the season. Finally, looking forward to it.

I can't decide who I want to see winning this though. City winning would obviously give them momentum for their title defense. Chelsea though would get a lift with a win, especially Sarri who's yet to win silverware in his career. And they would be our rivals for a top four spot.

Very difficult, but I would just about go with a Chelsea win.

Think he probably will be. Hazard won't be ready for the first match. Willian may not either.

We didn't lose just because of Jones. We lost because of our approach in general and our inability to attack. There was plenty of time in the game for us to score after Chelsea took the lead but we had no clue really. We tried yes but we didn't create enough. Jones error was a consequence of the approach we took in the early part of the game.
