Horrible stuff. Such a young lad still.
Maybe Arsenal should just hire him out.
3 mins extra time seems fair. thought it would be like 5 or 6
He's had his op and it appears to be good. They are hoping to get him back in training.
Frontal passses against 9 players and not a single shot, great job guys
Holy shit almost.
Neymar has had a dud of a season so far
Well done Athletic Bilbao
Good to hear.
Final! 2-1 to Bilbao. What an ending. Paco Alcacer demonstrates for everyone why he is the flop of the year. A result that unfortunately is not enough for Bilbao. Barcelona will go through to next round. Only positive is that Barca will have to play their best team again, for the second leg.
What a fecking finish.
OMG! What an end to the game! Barca so close to score the 2-2. Deserved win in the end for Bilbao, but they are still going out, imo.
Been the best of the front three tonight and is the player with most assists in the team, not his best version but not as bad as the lack of goals could make us think
Unfortunately they will still go out, but it is good for confidence. Just wish Garcia wouldn't do such silly things.
This Barca side are nowhere as good as Real this season. They so lethargic, lazy and disinterested.
Barca will still win this at Camp Nou.
Maybe they should get Poch as their manager.
Course they will, but at least Bilbao have more fight than some teams.
I have never considered Luis Enrique a top coach, tbf. He has been lucky to work on what Guardiola built.
Barca losing against 9 men. Classic.
There were two/three (if you count tito's assistant) managers between them. Tito (not his fault) and Tata did not do too well. Enrique deserves some credit!
Tough to keep successful players motivated, it was probably fergies greatest attribute.
It is crazy how Barca has no real options off the bench for the front 3.
How is Inaki Williams these days?
If you want them you have to cultivate them. But that would cut match time away from the three stars...
Even when he won the treble in 2015 Barca had a very poor first part of the season.
The problem with Barca it's called Xavi-Iniesta they never had the credit they deserved, they have the best 3 of any team but they aren't near the team who won 6 cups in a year
I'd say it's not just the front 3 but actually almost the whole team lacking depth. On their day and with everyone fit they can destroy any team in the world but as soon as players are out of form, injured or banned it obviously causes massive problems.
Barca will easily kill them in return leg
? This isn't a Leicester. This is Barcelona, the best team in the world over the last 10 years, maybe 15.
This season is off, but after 10 years of hunger and high competition, I wouldn't say they're now unmotivated and that it's a failing.
Exactly, it is the same thing with every single position, including the goalkeeper who I don't rate particularly. Their midfield is really worrying once Iniesta gets injured.
Yeah like Barca haven't been regularly challenging for trophies every year. Silly post.
So they should be with their resources.
Not a penalty
Not the point really. You can't really come to a conclusion that they aren't motivated as they have been consistently challenging for trophies for a while.
You want to be a Manchester United fan and then you would have something to moan about regarding penalties. It appears your referees are as inconsistent as ours yet ours are supposedly the best. Not in my book they aren't.
You wonder if it just gets that easy that they might be needing a shock to the system to get them back to their best. They are still competing as I said and should be with their financial resources, but the sparkle in their play is not their as consistently.
Yup. He's actually the team's main creative outlet, more so than messi
