Many players from Buffon to Ander Herrera gave their opinion about the match.

Mourinho when asked about who's gonna win "I don't know, but I'll watch the game"

Copa Libertadores has awlays been 2 legged. Next year it will be a 1 game final in a neutral stadium, which is something I don't like and I don't think you can do it here due to the distances and costs for the fans to afford.

How can I watch Copa Libertadores final for free?
South America's premier final is normally not shown in the UK.

But with Boca Juniors and River Plate one of the biggest rivalries in world football, the showpiece has been brought over here.

Both legs will be shown live on FreeSports with coverage of the first game on Saturday, November 10 starting at 8pm.

If you are watching on BT TV, it will be on channel 95.

For Sky customers, it will be available on channel 422.

Meanwhile, Virgin Media subscribers can view it on channel 533

Pretty sure it had to do with the lack of travelling by away fans.

This is actually really cool. Excited to see how Juan Pablo sorin deals with Barros schelotto and whether Ariel Ortega or Juan Roman riquelme reign as the supreme number 10.

Is that a Buenos Aires derby then? I went to the stadium of Boca Juniors, it looks pretty shady and all but you can feel the passion of football right there!

In terms of Libertadores there's never been a final between two teams of the same city

Cool, I'm gonna watch it for the entertainment. Two huge South American clubs that I honestly have never seen play. Sounds like it's gonna be a cracker.

    It's two over games, though?

Yeah, the second game will be on Nov. 24th, same time.

Putin would be assisting to the second game, and there are rumours about Donald Trump assisting too :houllier:

I actually like the two legged scenario, previous years finals have benefitted from it as well. It’s a shame it’s being changed.

Also, there is VAR in this, so good chance of pens and red cards I imagine as there will be some big tackles. They brought VAR in at the Quarter final stage I think it was. It’s been a bit of a farce so far in the last couple rounds so be interesting to see how it goes.

Always been a Boca fanboy purely because of the kit.

This should be great entertainment, is the crowd going to be 50/50?

Both Boca and River have robbed other teams via VAR

Javier Pinola made a crear penalty and the referee didn't even check it through VAR, he said it was only a casual crash

a terrible crash between cruzeiro's defender dede and Boca Jrs goalkeeper Andrada who finished with a broken jaw. There has clearly no intention of hurting the keeper but the referee via VAR decided to sent Dede off which is crazy in my eyes
