Keep Klan King Kenny and Kruyff at etc etc
Are you sure this isn't what the whole story is about & the Liverpool connection is just a journalistic twist to make a story out of nothing?
Imagin Cruyff laying eyes on Jay Spearing for the first time. His mind would probably explode.
This is the same Cruyff who's had more bust up's in the Ajax board room than Peggy Mitchell in the Vic.
Should work out a treat for them.
Mr Cruyff, this is our £35m striker Andy Carroll.....
Whoever gets that job after Comolli/Kenny's recent transfer shananigans has got the easiest job ever.
I would prefer it if neither were to become DOF or manager.
As long as Krazy Kenny is still identifying future drinking partn.....I mean, transfer targets, it doesn't matter who replaces Comolli.
Dalglish won't be anywhere near Liverpool by the summer. No way.
Who did he sign of note for St.Etienne?
Why do they need anyone to replace him? The majority of top clubs out there operate well without a director of football. If Dalglish is good enough, then he should be able to make his own signings.
You want Rafa back, don't you?
Let's face it, he's better than Dalglish.
Don't actually know, but apparently his work there first time around was very highly regarded. To be fair I can't claim to be an avid watcher of St.Etienne in in the 04/05 season.
Am I crazy or did Liverpool do something similar when Rafa left, firing one of the front office guys a few months before?
Actually this is quite an interesting article which puts what I thought in quite a different light.
Just reading RAWK's thread about Brukner and it appears he and Dalglish clashed over the players' lifestyles (Brukner wanting them to eat healthy, train properly, stretch at night, etc, and Kenny not caring so much). Looks like we'll see a hungover Andy Carroll leading the line next season. Three cheers for Kenny!
They may as well try something different seeing as he can't get much worse.
We all want rafa back!
