Well it's not really been a cause for concern at United since about 2013, so I see no reason to start now :)

He never plays well for Spain. He looks like that when he plays for them. They criticize every move and compare him to Casillas and Navas. I believe he has too much pressure and just crumbles. With United he has the support he'll never have in Spain.

Maybe after the Spain debacle he's realized that playing with Real wouldn't be any better and he's happy to be somewhere he knows he'll perform at his best?

Nice to see him back, glad he's got rid of that top knot, looked pretty horrendous.

I must be the only one who actually liked that look on him. I'm not normally a fan of it but thought it looked fairly decent on him.

Has anything come of his "verbal" contract agreement?

What would his value be in today's inflated market?

He's so good. Made two great saves yet seemed so routine. His passing is so bad though, almost cost us a goal.

Maybe he's lacking confidence after the World Cup. He needs to improve his command of his area, cost us a goal and could have cost us another. Cancels out the great save in the first half.

Brilliant saves with dose of Karius from time to time.

    He'll get through it.

Some shaky moments. Set pieces and coming for the ball, but made a couple of top saves. Will grow in confidence as the season goes on.

Made some great stops today but was unusually shaky at times too. Fortunately it didn’t cost us and there was much more good than bad.

Is it just me or he has this bad habit of watching the ball when its going to hit the posts?
Like he was so sure ball was going outside. Most keepers would try to stop that but Dave... coste us a goal there.

    Some great saves as usual.

Good that Madrid are set with a GK, only team other than them that can lure him away from us is Barcelona.

Good thing is they have a relatively young top 5 keeper (going by last season) themselves
