He's on the front page of the bbc looking as though he's part of the Chelsea celebrations... bizarre.

If that is really him, why on earth he would be interested in taking photos of Chelsea lifting the trophy? a fan?

Maybe they are nicking him like Peter Kenyon

But yes it is annoying when one of our most loyal ex players and our chief exec have become Chelsea fans.

Gary neville did my head in again last night

The Champions league final has about 17k fans from each side then the rest of the stadium is made up of corporate. The fact the chairman from one of the largest clubs in the world was there should come as no surprise.

I'm surprised a CEO of one of the biggest club in the world would actually do that. Is he a closet Chelsea fan? Or is that his twin brother?

In the same way Neville was clearly happy Chelsea won despite being a bigger united man than any of us probably are, could it not be that Gill was at the game whether as a representative of united meeting with other corporates in uefa or as a means to talk to someone etc, but being a football fan he wanted to take photos?

I don't know what it is, but everyone in the world (and the stadium) seem to be taking pictures these days. Who cares, really.

He's clearly lying. Don't believe a word of it. Except the nouns. They're pretty believable.

You lads really don't have a clue do you?

He was taking pictures so he could go,back to the glazers and say 'look, this is what happens if you spend half a billion on players instead of bond holders!'.

He's a football fan and was no doubt given free corporate tickets by UEFA. How many of you would turn that down?

Are you upset that he is recording a bit of it on his phone and not jumping around all crazy with all the other Chelsea fans? Oh wait.....

Seriously, some of you lot would fit in well at The Daily Mail, The Sun or The Mirror talk about sensationalising a complete nothing story.

Agreed. You'd have thought Gill had burst into tears during a heartfelt rendition of you'll never walk alone after some of these comments.

Chelsea are not our rivals. Annoying as they may be, as a club, they're probably no more annoying that the likes of Sunderland and Stoke whose fans come to Old Trafford and sing Liverpool songs and do the Poznan.

I doubt Gill would've done the same thing had it been Liverpool or City.

Calm down mate, personally I just cringed at seeing our chairman act like a teenage girl with her iPhone out trying to get a close up of Terry lifting the CL trophy.

For the record, I like Gill.

Oh come off it, you act like he's the only one with a camera or phone out. Did you not see the walk up to the trophy? Every single person was making a video or taking pictures on their phone.

That "no cameras at matches" is aimed at the day trippers at Old Trafford who spend more time looking into the lens than they do watching the game. We're talking about someone who isn't a Chelsea fan, taking a few pictures or videos at a Champions League final. It's not like there was a game to be watching instead is it? I'd have done exactly the same.

For all we know he might have a nephew, niece or child of one of his good friends that supports Chelsea and he promised he'd get some pictures of Videos for them.

I actually can't believe people are making a big deal out of it.
