Yeah, don't know what the fuss is about. He took some photos to show his kids a unique perspective, or even for his private collection - big deal!

Likewise nothing wrong with him enjoying himself at the game - he does an amazing job for us and after SAF, his the 2nd most dedicated and important member of our staff.

This. I don't have any beef with David Gill at all. Even if it came out that he supported Chelsea all his life, who cares? He does a great job for us and that is all that matters.

I got the impression myself that Gill was a United fan - he's always at reserves games and the like, which I wouldn't expect a man in his position to be obligated attend. Since his son left the reserves then I just assumed he was a fan due to bothering with attending those games.

He's a life long United fan. He's said so on many occasions.

He probably has some friends among Chelsea board, they all know each other from the FA meetings and such, so it's not really surprising that he was happy for them to win it.

He will have been invited to watch and sit with the directors. Just an oppertunity to see the final, why shouldnt he go?

Maybe he's gone to Germany for the Kagawa deal and thought he may as well watch the CL final as well

He should've auctioned his ticket and put the proceeds towards the war chest.

I don't really see anything wrong in what he did.

As a member of the FA board, a member of the European Club Association and a former vice-president of the G14, you'd expect him to be there really. CEO's of most big European clubs will have been there probably.

And it might well be that he was hoping for a Chelsea win, as an Englishman and member of the FA board. Don't really see the problem in that as well to be honest.
