Luiz must have been a panic buy, otherwise they wouldn't have pursued Koulibaly so heavily all summer. I wonder what's going on with their transfer dealings as Chelsea used to be amazing at just getting deals done, though over the last two seasons they have struggled to land their main targets. And now JM really left Chelsea in a state. How can a team that won the Championship just the year prior looks so poor now and have so many list-cloggers? Cahill, Terry, Ivanovic are all well over the hill and need replacing. Their best players in Hazard, Costa and Courtois are all making noises about leaving. Fabregas too, but you can hardly call him one of their best players at the moment. Oscar has been turned into the best tacking #10 in the business. They need to revamp things pretty heavily IMO and Conte needs to find a system that gets the best out of Hazard, Costa, Fabregas and Kante. At least Luiz played with some passion, though he really needs a prime-Terry next to him or someone equally as commanding to control Luiz, as he was all over the place.
