Running around without a clue and lumping the ball forward I believe
Your current manager is a lot worse in this regard tbh
Funniest thing I've read for a while
'More Britishness'... Sounds like something Wumminator would want.
He's only repeating what loads of people think tbh.
British players are seen as grafters, foreigners not so much... It's a generalisation but it's based somewhat on reality. Brits stick to what they are good at, and usually that involves "getting stuck in" and "closing down" a lot.
I get the impression you're all a bit too desperate to stick knife into moyes at any chance, he's said nothing here that's particularly noteworthy.
Less than 4 years ago since David Moyes was the manager of the Champions of England and was trying to sign Gareth Bale for a World record fee
Nah....he would only accept more 'mancness'
Well he basically just said unless you're a British player you have no fight in you. I'd call that pretty narrow minded and dumb. The best combative player in the league is Kante for feck sake.
Have you seen Ndong play...
I don't think anything that Mourinho has ever said can compare to any of Moyes words of wisdom. Or any other manager ever.
Mate, your current manager is the biggest cretin in football. He's good at his job but he's complete and utter cockwomble who chats shit non stop.
Roy Keanes a penis as well but he nailed Jose. He's a cringey little man child who never grew up.
I take it you are not a Mourinho fan then?
I like how much he hates Liverpool and their fans but yes, putting that aside he's an absolute weapon and I'm fairly sure anyone putting aside their bias will admit that he is fundamentally a massive cnut... All be it a talented one.
He's also a winner.
Everything Moyes never was. This is a man that has won more in 6 months than Moyes has in his career.
Reading your comment about Mourinho, all the words you used to describe him could describe your comment and it's orator.
Played the Irishman Gibson because he needed more Britishness.
Fair enough. It is pretty amusing that he despises Liverpool as much as he does. Nice username btw
That can't be right. He must be joking, surely
I will admit, I hated him while he was here. Genuine hatred, like he killed my brother or something.
This is ridiculous, just FYI
I can't believe he said that... so small minded and stupid
I feel bad for sunderland... Almost.
nah mate it would have worked if the players were of the CL quality Moyes is used to
You get that impression do you?
Thats pretty much the whole purpose of this thread to take the piss out of Moyes and the silly things he says (of which there are many). And to be fair nobody heres really trying to hide that fact either.
That sounds like an article out of the Onion.
To be fair, didn't Fergie literally handpick him as the next United manager solely because of his 'Britishness'?
I heard Fergie even made him his packed lunch on his first day and drove him to the training ground. In case you were wondering, peanut butter.
after about 5 other guys, yes it seems that's all he could say positive about him
Has Moyes ever said anything is his own fault?
Im expecting him to come out and say "this loss was my fault, as I actually thought the players were better than they were, They clearly are not. They are clearly league 2 level and should be proud ive got them playing in this league"
It's a discussion for another thread, but highly doubt the five other guy bit. Reckon Moyes was the first choice all along.
Not sure what Gibbo would make of those comments considering the obvious...
This is an entertaining read. Good to see that Moyes considers that Sunderland are "doing the right thing by not sacking their manager".
But, by not sacking him, Sunderland will get relegated this season, whereas they have stayed up in recent seasons after sacking their manager.
Moyes has a strange logic.
Agreed, that became a cop out for Fergie
Bensonjutton booted out on his ear
It pisses me off hearing his name.. Can't believe Fergie gave us him as a parting gift.
Separate names with a comma.
