Interesting how when Tevez holds up a sign saying 'RIP Fergie', hoping for the death of a rival manager, in his 70s, it gets relegated to a side story but when Rooney swears at a camera when celebrating a goal it's headline news.

Hoping for his death? That's one of the more negative interpretations I've heard of it, I saw it more as a reference to his time at the top of English football, apparently there was also a comment he made that City wouldn't surpass United in his lifetime or something similar.

City have already apologised; besides, it's sort of accepted wisdom that Tévez is a massive cnut. Wasting more words on it seems redundant.

More people read stories about Utd than they do about City.... simple!

Hardly surprising though is it? would anyone really expect any different from that lot? Ok it was Tevez who was holding up the board but someone else obviously wrote it for him because he is an idiot, so it goes to show that even in a time of the greatest victory for donkeys years, they were thinking about United! kind of a little bit sad really on their behalf.

He would for sure appear to look innocent saying he did not know what RIP means and pretended. The more I see his face, the more I hate him. What a low life person with disgraceful and utter sad personality

More antics befitting a terrible, lowlife, bitter, paranoid classless club. Even with money they struggle to drag themselves any further from gutter level, somebody summed them up perfectly by likening them to a lotto lout.
I find it fitting that Franny Lee built up his fortune making toilet rolls and now his beloved gobshite club keep producing the accompanying shite to go with it.

What else would you expect from a classless prick? (assuming he knew how to read what was written on poster)

It's quite a headliner from where I looked at. Almost all sports news outlet put it as headline for a day.

I think what you mean is the story shouldn't have died after the apology was accepted, it should have kept on snowballing as in Rooney's case.

It's not worth getting too worked up about. Rooney will always be more news-worthy than any chewing-gum-throated South American cnut.

    (did I just contradict myself?)
