This season isn't really over until next Saturday as both the Champions League places and the 20th team is yet to be decided... but as of this moment I think its very hard to predict what's going to happen next season.

    As a guess though:

    - Arsenal will finish outside the top 4.
    - Liverpool will finish outside the top 4.
    - Newcastle will finish outside the top 4.
    - The title race will be between City and Chelsea.
    - Q.P.R will be relegated.

Not a complete cock, just really young.
    • Newcastle will struggle for a top half finish.
    • The title race will once again be between United and City, with Chelsea dropping off late on.
    • Southampton will do a Norwich/Swansea
    • Swansea and Norwich will both suffer second season syndrome. Norwich affected more so by the departure of their manager to West Brom.
    • Spurs will sell a number of players and struggle to mount a challenge for the top four, and will go out at the group stages of the Champions League (of course assuming Bayern win the final)
    • City and United will both progress to the latter stages of the Champions League.
    • Liverpool will finish higher than Spurs.

    -City will win the title.
-Chelsea will challenge, and come 3rd just behind us.
-Arsenal and Tottenham will be competing for 4th.
-Liverpool and Newcastle will be competing for 6th.
    -Southampton will do a Norwich/Swansea.
-Suarez will be nominated for POTY and will be one of the main contenders.
-Hernandez will score 15-20 goals in the league.
-Aston Villa will be relegated. (unless they replace McLeish with a very good manager)

City will start the season as favourites for the league, and probably deservedly so as they're champions and will still probably spend another 100 million. It'll be a 2 horse race again. We should have better luck with injuries and players like Welbeck, Cleverley, Jones and Smalling will continue to improve.

I cant see Chelsea gettin near us, think they're still a side in transition, and Terry, Lampard, Drogba and co wont have much more to give.

Arsenal probably the closest challengers again. Think Spurs will weaken, can't see them holding onto all their key players, they certainly can't afford to keep Adebayor. Bale and/or Modric might be looking away especially if they don't get CL football.

Liverpool surely can't be as shit as they were this season. If they get a proper manager in they'll be about 5th.

    - PL will be a two-horse race between United & City again.
    - Wenger will finally invest some serious money in the off season...only to finish 3rd again.
    - Martinez takes over at Liverpool. Signs Conor Sammon.
    - Chelsea sack Di Matteo. Hire Brendan Rogers.

I know that. What I'm saying is that unless the replacement is a very good manager, they'll definitely go down.

We'll see. Spurs and Chelsea will make the top 4 very congested next season. You barely finished above Newcastle!

    Agreed.

My view is that I reckon City will run away with the title if they have the same luck with injuries again.

United, Chelsea and Arsenal will take up the next 3 spots.

Arsenals season will depend on whether they hold on to RVP. I didnt think he sounded that convinving when interviewed yesterday about whether he was staying.

I think Van Persie will stay at Arsenal but it still won't be enough to finish in the top two. They are comfortably better than Spurs though.

Having said that about Arsenal not making it into the Champions League, If Chelsea win the European Cup and force Spurs out then I doubt they'll hold onto those important players and therefore Arsenal will finish 4th next year.

    1. The Champion's League will be won by an Italian team.
    2. Manchester United will win the Premier League with a gap of two points.
    3. Newcastle United will finish outside the top six, but will make it to the semi finals at least of the Europa Cup.
    4. Paul Pogba will score on his Juventus debut, leading to mass suicides in the Caf.
    5. Sergio Aguero finishes as the top scorer in the Premier League.
    6. Liverpool progress all the way up to seventh.
    7. Norwich will be relegated.
    8. West Brom struggle, but survive. Just.

That's an intelligent prediction, considering that United have never finished outside the top 3 in the history of the Premiership, and only dropped to 3'rd three times.

    • United and City to contest the PL.
    • Arsenal to finish much closer.
    • Chelsea to struggle for top 4 but likely to achieve it.
    • Big shake-up in United team signals new era (wishful thinking?)
    • United to do better in Europe (how could we do worse?)
    • IPO and elimination of debt partially reconciles diehard fans to Glazer ownership.
    • Wayne Rooney publicly declares his sexual preference for older men.

    That's not a prediction Matt

Real Madrid to win the Champions League, beating an Italian team in the final
Three way race for the Premier League, 2 Manchester clubs and Arsenal in the mix. Chelsea to stroll to a 4th place finish.
Arsenal end their drought with a Carling Cup win
Liverpool to win the FA Cup
    Giggs to retire
2 Eastern/Southeastern European teams to make the quarterfinals of the Champions League

Champions league will be won by a Spanish team. We'll get to the quarters/semis, but will lose to the eventual winners.

Newcastle will go out of the Europa in the knock-outs.

The future is not a function of what went before.

    The future is uncertain.

My prediction is therefore as likely as anyone else's.

Anyway, it's about time we saw a decline in Man Utd.

I can't see how the likes of Arsenal or Chelsea are going to overturn a 19 point swing over us next season. I expect us to be stronger next season with fewer injuries including having our captain back. We mightn't even get 89 points again next year but i still can't see Arsenal or Chelsea getting near us.

It's not really. This has been a season of transition in a way. I don't think we'll win the league as City are only going to get better, but I really can't see us finishing 4th, and we're going to improve as opposed to declining if anything.

Depends on this summer activity really which is going to play a huge role in next season.

Even with major injuries, we've almost clinched the title which for me is an over achievement ...

    So if we get
    1. Good LB cover, a quality MF and Vidic back to his best - United should reclaim the title.

    2. If citeh spunk money on defensive covers which mostly have cost them points, Thiago Silva, Hazard etc... It will be a tough competition also with their title winning experience... They would be a good match up, looking fwd to that challenge.

    The rest:
Chelsea are in transition, can't see them win the league with their crop of defenders.

Arsenal again will probably not invest, if they can keep RVP and keep Wilshere fit, it'll be interesting but still their defence is not top quality for me.

Spurs hopefully will not bottle it and they'll probably again be looking to access their striking options. For me, they should just let go of King, even though he is a top player when on form, he's injuries will always cause Spurs to rotate too much of their back 4 which causes them to bottle it.

Newcastle will still be a threat if they manage to create more squad depth while keeping their best players...

And lastly Liverpool which if KK is still in charge, they'll still be a middle side team as players like Downing, Spearing have been mediocre. Maybe getting Lucas Leiva back will boost them, but their attacking threat is less than teams like Norwich or Swansea... I predict another struggle.

We will win the fa cup and come second in the league, behind city probably. Chelsea will finish 3rd, arsenal fourth.
We will make it far in the champions league, but lose out to eventual winners real Madrid.
Barca will be in transition and finish well below Madrid in the league, messi will score only 50 goals next season
Scholes and giggs will both be retired at the end of next season
Rafael becomes our first choice right back
Welbeck will become a regular starter, while Hernandez does decently on the bench as a sub
We will again be filled with injuries, especially in defence causing people to wonder why do we have terrible luck, when it's not really about luck, it's about the people we have

    - United will win the FA Cup
