Looks like he's very drunk and he's doing all he can not to fall on his face.

I'm more confused what he's meant to be doing with the ball.

These are getting ridiculous now, starting to make the Michael Jackson statute Fulham had look like a masterpiece.

I just knew it was going to be sh*t for some reason.

I mean, who even kicks a ball like that?!

It's obviously not a professionally done statue like the Ronaldo one (which is obviously rubbish too), and it could of just been made by the locals as a sign of respect, so I won't judge too much.

Are we 100% sure that it's not John Obi Mikel, or Salomon Kalou, or Florent Malouda? Or perhaps Alexei Smertin.

Am I the only one that thinks it looks ok? I mean sure the legs are pissed, the torso's too long, the arms are skew whiff and the head's designed in minecraft but it'll do. Can't Fecking stand art critics.

I actually kinda like it, from an abstract point of view. He’s also clearly about to throw some sick shapes up in that ...truck lot?

One can readily detect the influence of the Futurists in the very 'active' style of the sculpture, particularly Marinetti's painted masterwork A Year's Supply of Tissues stuffed down my Socks.

It's pretty horrific in all honesty but good on them for getting something up to honour one of their icons.

I'm guessing the statue making business is going the same way painting did. Loads of people who want to be artists but don't have much artistic talent, so they make stuff that looks shit and then just say it's abstract or a stylistic choice.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the message behind this sculpture.

Brutal. Looks like he's going to do one of his knees, plus the feet look a bit small, while the forehead is a bit too big and seems to be sporting a belly.

Scrolling down my instant thought was that it was made out of Lego.

Pretty cool if it had been to be honest, fans could make all sorts of hilarious alterations.
