Weirdest bastard on here
Some right bitter bastards on here, it's like reading blue fecking moon!
The table never lies, regardless of how much money they have spent, the manager and the players still had to deliver under the utmost pressure.
That's about spirit and character, not money. Mancini and his players deserve credit for that, and as gutted as i am, i really cannot begrudge the long suffering City fans, including my Dad, their long awaited day in the sun!
Unbelievably my day is about to get much worse, i've still got to face my dad yet!
My suffering is almost complete!
There's no way he'll of qualified for one - how on Earth could he get special dispensation? Didn't he play once in the league all season?
Some real RAWK type comments on here. Pretty embarressing.
He has learnt from Abramovich. Investing in the club infrastructure, training complex etc and buying some young core players makes me think they will last longer than Chelski, unfortunately.
Why, because Im gracious in defeat? Glad to be 'weird' then.
The Project. Wankers.
United have been winning like that for years
City players are entitled to play for the money they are offered, even if they know deep down that they would be elsewhere if they had better offers.
We may all get used to that today, so long as the arab pumps cash into the playing staff at city we and every other club will be watching them win alot of silver in the next few years, its a money game and thats the future
You are the most gracious fan, congrats.
And you're what this forum would be like if we weren't succesful.
We lost the league. Do it gracously.
I will say well done for their spirit. With only a few minutes to go, and 2 goals down, most would have just crumbled.
But to say well done for how they got to the top of English football? Not a fecking chance.
Must feel amazing to be a citeh fan right now, the best way to win the league for them.
Oh well, roll on next season
Nothing to say to City, bought their way to the top
Mancini betrayed all his principles, saying Tevez would never play again, saying Balotelli would never play again before putting all his hopes and trust in both in the final game.
Turncoat almost cost them the title despite outspending us by about a billion in the past season
For some reason, seeing Kompany and some other players of City celebrating, it doesn't look so bad. But then their fans, they piss me off, along with some of their players.
Eh? What would the forum be like? You are very confusing...
We arent robots, we're allowed to be upset at losing the title. Maybe you dont care as much as others.
The thing is ... all this stuff about money and arabs ... purely from a neutral point of view, for City's players to dig as deep into their mental reserves like they did just now, to shout down the demons and get 2 goals in injury time ... that deserves credit ... does not matter what they are paid or what 'project' they are part of.
It demonstrates belief, professionalism and a team spirit. Had we done similar, as we have done so many times in the past, we all be yippee-dee-doo about it.
Give credit where its due. City's players stood up today. They deserve their moment of glory. The ethics about that glory can be debated another day.
Yeah clearly I don't care. Desite holding a ST I really couldn't give a shit.
Stop being a bitter prick. Even Fergie just congratulated City.
They didn't stand up ffs. They marginally won the title against one of the shittest teams in the league. They allowed QPR to take the lead at one point. If QPR have 11 men then they probably hold on.
Exactly, some clearly have never met a City fan.
It's horrible, it feels like the end of the world, but it happens. I just want to lie in a darkened room and eat doritos.
Absolutely, you lot still talk about the Champions League Final in 1999 and rightly so and they have now done the same in the premier league.
Stop being a wanker yourself. You come into the thread acting like people who are pissed off are shit fans, you're an absolute joke, 'ooo city were awesome, congrats!!'. Fans have a right to be upset, if you aren't upset then you're a very strange supporter.
against QPR rather than Bayern.
Well said. Incredible mental strength on the day. I don't know about deserving their moment of glory, but that doesn't take away the fact that their willingness to keep going when they could have crumbled and feeling sorry for themselves was....great.
It doesn't matter how they did it because they did, and they didn't win the title against QPR, they won the title against everybody.
Well done City.
Every United fan is upset and as you put it 'pissed off'.
Just not every United fan is classless. They were better than us over the cource of the season. Fergie said it.
Form is temporary, Class is permenent. And you lack the latter.
Take the bickering to PM, lads.
So, they beat what was in front of them.
I actually went up to my room for the last 15 minutes of the match, and lay on my bed, filling up with tears in a mixture of excitement, nervousness, anxiety etc.
Went to the funeral of one last week. Really happy in one respect because he will have seen this from somewhere I hope.
Happy for the City fans I know personally, and utterly gutted for myself.
Not really happy for what this means for football though - it's not really Manchester City we've just seen winning a title, it's the future of football at the top level - financial doping.
That post about City's fans being "some of the best in the land" is clearly drivel and deserves all the abuse it got. Unless I imagined all those empty seats at Eastlands before they won the lottery?
Their incredibly expensive team did the business on the pitch but let's not start making shit up in an attempt to be more magnanimous than everyone else.
^The most ironic/satirical quotes in internet history.^
Have to say the way they won the league probably up there or even beats Michael Thomas' late strike for Arsenal against the Scousers in 89.
One thing you have to say about this City side compared to perhaps any direct competitor we have had in the league is that they have a lot of bottle.
£930 can get you a championship winning side but I realise I have underestimated Mancini as a manager.
They were downright ridiculous. No support for their players at all once QPR went up.
Now I know how Bayern and Chelsea fans felt after 1999 and 2008.
im not knocking the players on the pitch today, they got their result sam and if im honest they deserve to win the league, they have been better than united all year.
All im saying is they wouldnt be playing for man city if it werent for money.
The fact is city have assembled a fantastic bunch of footballers and i bet not one of their fans gives 2 fecks about how they came to be there. I know I wouldnt.
They are the champions, and they have probably the most talented players in the country for the most part and they will have their pick of the next best this summer, the rest of us cant compete with the money they have and that presents a problem for us and every other club
But from a players point of view why shouldnt they go to who pays the most, especially if the best payers have all the best players and actually want you.
